Mods not loading

Azathos

Question

Hey guys, I got a little problem here and I hope I'm just overlooking something. I was following the SRLE install guide and got until the "Landscape and Environment" section. At this point I wanted to make sure that everything works correctly, so I won't have to install everything all over again. Now here is the problem: Once I start SKSE through MO I get the normal splash screen with play, options, data files and so on. If I do click on data files there is nothing listed there regarding mods, exept the normal vanilla ones. If I click play the game does load but once I start a new game there seem to be no mods installed. I already installed Alternative Start but I am still starting on the carriage for example.

If I take a look into the menu it does tell me I got skyrim 1.9.32.0.8 and SKSE 1.7.3 rel 48 installed, but not even the MCM menu is showing up for me. Funny thing is, LOOT and Wrye Bash do detect the installed mods and I made sure all the esps are checked. I tried changing the load mechanism in the workaround section from MO to script extender, but then the game won't even start. So I am pretty much at a loss about what to do here and I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance

Thank you for the reply, but my problem is that I am doing that. I got SKSE selected in MO when I am hitting the "Run" button. But it still launches the default splash screen first instead of directly starting the game. And yes I checked the "Modify Executables" tab, and under SKSE I got the skse_loader.exe selected as the binary.
