Do you have the dodge perk?  You're unable to dodge until you unlock it.

From the Evasion tree?  Yeah I took that just incase but no difference.

Hi all,  I'm wondering what happened to relighting skyrim in the guide?  In searching the forum threads I'm not sure when it was removed.  Was it replaced by Claralux? - but i noticed Claralux isn't part of the core finish line page - and that patches may not be up to date for it.    Were there problems running either with the REQ setup?     Thanks

With all of the overhauled interiors we were having to cut out large portions of it and host the esp... Additionally with the recommended setup using Requiem Realistic Darkness based WLSO stack w/ recommended enb the light level is just right... RS caused too much darkness.

 

You can add it in if you really want it.. just delete all the cells from it that conflict with the various interior overhauls

Did you re-run FNIS with the TK Dodge option checked?

I did. Twice.  I've also noticed a few items listed ojn the LOTD page for armoury missing from menus (few specific types of sword for steel or iron for example) also weirdly while I know it was there before I now cannot see the travel lantern to make it. I might try running the reqtifier again maybe or do the whole finish line section once more.

 

Also WTH is up with the dragonpriest from Kohariks accountrement? Can't remember his name but the forge master?  I literally can't damage him. Even went into God mode and wailed on him for 5 minutes and no change in his bar even with several critical hit popups?

If you just finished setting up this guide than you must be pretty low level, too low to even enter that area and have a chance of survival without outright cheating, and the forge master is so high level that it didn't matter if you're using tgm, you're too easy to hurt him. Why play this guide if you're not going to play like it's built to be played?

Requiem is THOROUGHLY perk based.  If you're low level and don't have the right perks your dmg even with great gear is going to be pitiful.  Additionally dragon priests have MASSAVE health regen along with resistances.. The resistances require certain types of weapons/damage to deal with... The HP regen is also halved or quartered via certain types of magic damage IIRC

I play the game as I choose to.  I had a level 34 character built the hard way on this guide but when I updated to the latest revision that character failed to load.  I've mostly been playing legit but also using some TGM to get my character back to where he was as grinding all the way up there was just painful.  I hadn't done too bad getting into the place (wasn't really any indication on the quest itself that it was so tough) and just ran into him.  If it's perk based (I'm around 60 on Bow at the moment) then fair enough although wasn't sure exactly what.

 

the issue with TK dodge and missing items still stand however.

Just completing the prerequisites page for this guide. For the last part "restore NPC visuals" the previous scripts are specifically requested within the guide to be installed within scripts folder for TES5Edit. This last one is not stated to be put anyway like the others so little uncertain whether to do same as previous ones (ie. place in TES5edit scripts folder) or if should do something different with it? Could you please clarify for avoidance of doubt?

HI all,  can't quite figure out what I'm doing wrong with the TAFM merge for it to produce so many fail messages.  I double ran it making sure the esps were in the right order.  Made sure I DL the right mods...  this can't be right.   Should I be installing EVERYTHING and then go back and do the merges?   I've been following the guide top to bottom and building the merge as noted under merge tips.   Could it be the merge tool is set up incorrectly?  So far the HUD, RWT, DYNDOLOD merges went off without a problem.   :confusion:   Thanks for any help here...

All I did was copy restore_NPC_visuals.pas into the edit scripts folder.   That's were all the *.pas files are stored and where TES5EDIT needs to look when it edits scripts...

I believe the "new" replacement esp for badGremlins Captured fairies created the above issues.  When I reinstalled the main file and left out updating to the newer esp my merge went through without any fails.  Also noticed the "new" esp BGthecapturedfairies.esp is dated 1/1/2008.  

 

Just a note if anyone's following me trying to install this guide...

As far as merges so as to better troubleshoot my issues... I shouldn't be seeing any exceptions or fails correct?  

The latest one I encountered centered on the grim grass - verdant patch.  I triple checked the esp order per the guide - should I try an older version of the mods?  Maybe the mod versions and subsequent patch don't match up?    Thank you.
