Issue on Start Up

Question

I'm having an issue when I start up the game.  After each section of the guide, I sort the mods and start up the game to make sure it works.  Of course, I check to make sure there are no esp's checked that will cause the game to crash.  Right now, my plugin number is 159.  I've skipped a few things like body mods and such as I don't really care to use them.  Anytime I add a new esp, doesn't matter what, and start up the game, the logo sequence is completely FUBAR.  I get to the "Bethesda" logo and the screen goes black.  My cursor turns into a pink box.  There are pop ups on the screen that I presume are from quest mods and JIP Select Fire mod.  I cannot get past these.  They loop several times and the game just freezes, forcing me to alt-tab and close the program.  WTH?  Anyone have this happen to them?  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Some users experience problems with adding plugins even though they are using far less than the maximum number of plugins. I don't have this problem myself so I haven't been able to investigate it, and none of the users who report plugin limit problems have reported information on what seems to be causing the  problem or any solutions. I have had a problem like this in Skyrim where it appears that there was a conflict in which of the plugins being used had issues when the plugin count exceeded some value; I tracked it down to one plugin but I still don't understand how that plugin caused the issue.

Have you looked at the CPU usage, GPU usage, RAM usage, and VRAM usage when you are using 159 plugins? If any of these are close to maximum they might be responsible for the the problem when you add more plugins.
