I've read the documentation that comes with Wyre Bash and I was wondering if someone could tell me if it's possible to have all the .esp files that are currently active for Skyrim in the patch. If not, is it possible to have more than one patch?

The documentation isn't very clear, perhaps it was because I was tired when I was reading it and misunderstood the purpose of the programme. I've had Skyrim since the PC launch and know how to use Loot and Nexus Mod Manager and have recently started using Mod Organiser as well.

"Patch" is too general? What patch are you referring to? Bashed Patched, merge patch, custom patch? Lots of patches! ^_^

As I understand it the more mod installers or mod managers you use the bigger the mess you.re going to have in the end. Wrye Bash is old school modding. NMM is new but hard to understand what it does exactly and Mod Organizer seems like an answer to all the problems but died before it's time.

Learn one system well at a time then see what you can do with mods in general.Based on what you know about all three. :confusion:

That's the thing, which do I need? I would like to run more mods than skyrim's 255 limit. The documentation i've been trying to read hasn't been very helpful so far.

Then I would recommend using Merge Plugins to merge all the "patches" which authors provide. This will go a long way to reduce the count. If you still need to reduce the count, you can merge "like" plugins.

I just fired up Skyrim, using SKSE registered through MO in order to continue my STEP: Extended game.  After that, I changed to my mod testing profile in MO and tested out some new mods.  I can confirm that not only is MO alive and well, it still is MO's time.  Just like it still is WB's and NMM's time, if those are the mod managers that work for you.
