Good evening,

For the sake of editing meta data in LOOT for some mods requiring a global priority #. Is the guide 100% accurate in telling you which mods to merge and which not to? For example I have got down to the end of 2.E interface section. Prior to this in 2.D, Improved Closed Face Helmets detailed instructions said to merge both files. Up to now at the end of 2.E there have been 3 mods (2 files total from mod page) the guide does not say to merge them. Is there a reason for that? The mods the guide does not say to merge at this point is Wisemans Flora Fixes (2 files) and Complete Crafting Overhaul (2 files) and High Quality 3D Map (2 files). Both meta entries below require a rule of 30 and 45. Is that assuming the merges happened or not? Thank you.

You might like to note in the notes for Wiseman303s Flora Fixes that the SMIM patch can be merged with the main file.

TechAngel said "This is always user preference so there is no real need to say it."

If its user preference then how can we use the exact values below?

Meta Rule Instructions

  • Global Priority: 30
Meta Rule Instructions

  • Global Priority: 45

"Merging" the mod is referring to using the "merge" option in MO when installing the files, rather than installing the second file as a separate mod. This option merely "replaces" copies of files it finds without deleting files already present in the install. So regardless of which option you choose, you should still have the same plugins available for the LOOT Meta Rules.

This is not referring to Mator's Merge Plugins tool!
