Turns out that optional file is just a loose files version of the UHRP

Proof: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/561890-bethesda-hi-res-dlc-optimized-endorsements/?p=7330512

I noticed... I just didn't bother until now :ermm:

Are you really sure about that? I just did a quick compare of the file sizes and the *compatible version*  is about 20mb smaller than the original UHRP. I see that some of the change might be through losing the compression that a bsa provides. But 20mb?
That link is for a quote of the mod author. I'm pretty sure he knows what he's talking about.

The link for Nvidia Inspector doesn't work.

Here is the correct one: https://www.guru3d.com/files_details/nvidia_inspector_download.html

Just checked it in the guide...works just fine. I'll add this link as an additional source.

EDIT: You're talking about the 2.2.1 Guide link... yeah, that should be updated...it's linking to an old version.

HD Enhanced Terrain has been updated and no longer has Type 1 and Type 2 files. It's now 1K vs 2K texture sizes.

It also includes a texture file for snow in the map.

Fixed.

Step 2.2.1

2.E Interface

Lockpicking Interface - Notes - STEP recommends "v1.2 (Anti-leather)" .

At Nexus (https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2845#content) under main files

Anti-leather version = 1.1

Without wings around keyhole = 1.2

Without wings is the better version imo.
I agree, I'll update the note.

Skyrim Flora Overhaul, there is a tree collision fix since Feb 14, do we need it? Should be clearified in the Guide.

https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/141

Tree Collison Fix 1,094 unique downloads 1,255 downloads 95kb size

drop the file into meshes

Yes. Should use it.

Added.
It only appears on the mod detail site (https://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Flora_Overhaul) but not in the guide notes.

Grr, I keep forgetting to refresh the guide.  Should be updated now.

The BCF for Skill Interface Retexture doesn't work for me. I've been tinkering with it for a little bit (although, I'll admit I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing), but nothing seems to work.  I've tried both the NMM installer V5, as instructed, as well as the manual install.  The option doesn't come up in the right-click menu under Conversions>Apply.  The BCF for the Dawnguard patch, and the mods up to this one, works though.

That is precisely the problem. I cannot describe a simple way to use WB. It is not a simple program to use' date=' because it forces the user to understand what is happening ... there are way too many options, and it is designed to allow near-complete control.[/quote']

As for the Wrye Bash Guide, I found the Official Readme to be really helpful.  I know in STEP's guide it says we should have "reviewed the most updated relevant documentation", but I'm sure a lot of people just skip the readme and go to this guide.  Maybe try to make it more clear that the readme should be read?  Or make this guide a bit more like the readme.  Also, a big thing that helped me understand what I was doing was the symbols and colors section of said readme.  And the screenshots for STEP's WB guide are outdated.  So with the changes to 2.2.1 guide structure, when it says "this is what it should look like" it is showing something else.

Sorry, this may not be the place for talk about the WB guide, but I came here for the Skill Interface BCF thing, and y'all got me thinking about it.

Thanks for all the work you guys do! 2.2.1 is awesome, I'm just really bad at WB, so it's taking me forever...

EDIT: Also, I eventually found a way to make an INI edit in WB, but I'm not too sure I was doing it right, so I think something about how to do that would be a good addition somewhere. Thanks again!
