I cannot remember if we have anything that changes ebony sword textures in STEP, but this one looks really nice! It's within 25 most endorsed files of past fortnight.

 

No brainer, new mesh and texture.

Yup makes them look nice. Gopher's using the mod in his let's play if you want to get some nice views. I don't think he's using the sword yet but he did a episode so people would stop bugging him about his uber skyforge steel sword in which he shows the 3D model with this mod applied. I'm using it as well in my SkyRe-ified Skyrim Revisited+ setup.

He is using the one-handed version in his current Conan play through. Looks much more medieval then the vanilla version. Nice.
