Wiki Bibliography

MadWizard25

Question

I would also like to request a stickied thread that acts as a bibliography of current wiki pages, with links to the wiki page as well as its thread on the forums. This way we can see what is on offer in one thread, rather than having to view multiple threads, and/ or visit the wiki site. If you want I could even start it. However i thought it wise to ask it as a request as it may not even be necessary or wanted.

In my imagination, it would involve seeing a sticking thread when browsing the guides/ tutorials section of the forum. Inside the thread would be a simple list of current wiki guides. Maybe even guides that are only available on the forums. A very rough example,

-Completed Wiki Guides-

Example Title of Guide (I.e. SIG)

- Wiki Link

- Link to the thread on forum

Example 2

- Wiki Link

- Link to thread

-WIP Wiki Guides-

Example 1

- Wiki Link

- Forum Link

-Forum Guides-

etc.

Envisioning a sort of central database for all guides that can be viewed in one post.

As is mentioned, not really necessary, adds a lot of redundancy, but it might be nice to have a list of all guides on forums and wiki in one place so one can have a quick skim through. This is really only so that those people who browse the forums for guides will be directed easily. And dw, Roogal, got a chance to read your post before you edited it, it wasnt foolish at all. The wiki button can be easily missed if one isnt looking for it.

I can ask Stopping to add the main guides to the wiki menu at the top of the page and we can start the practice of including a link to the corresponding thread in the intro of each wiki.

Would that cover the functionality you would like to see?
