Recommended magic enhancement

In the opinion of the STEP community, what would you guys recommend for a magic overhaul?

 

Balanced Magic look good, and Better Magic is apparently compatible with others. Don't like the Necromage/Vampire PC "fix" that Better magic does though...

 

Any others any of you'd put on the table?

I was looking for the same thing recently but haven't installed any yet. I use Skyre so wanted something relatively compatible. Apocalypse Spell Package is one I was looking at: https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16225/? but I haven't really looked into them properly regarding Skyre compatibility.

I use Apocalypse with no regrets.

Empowered magic without a doubt. Fixes the inbalances in the trees, while keeping them almost 100% vanilla. So it is not as invasive as other mods. And you can still use other spell adding mods on top of it if you so wish, and your mod list can handle it.
