How to permanently change my Field of view

I have these two lines added to both my inis under [General]:

fdefaultfov=80
 fDefaultWorldFOV=80

However, those don't change my fov at all ingame. I have to open the console and type fov 80 every time I start the game. Anyone know know how to fix that?

In SkyrimPrefs.ini:

[General]

fDefaultFOV=80

In Skyrim.ini:

[General]

fDefaultFOV=80

[Display]

fDefaultWorldFOV=80

fDefault1stPersonFOV=80

that's what I do (except I use 75) and it seems to work. You can lower fDefault1stPersonFOV if you want less of your charactermodel to show in 1st person (65 = default for that). Used to be a bug that when you opened map that value would reset, not sure if it's still around as I keep them all the same
