DarkOne (Nexus ower) had specifically asked us not to create a tool that would download mods from Nexus automatically. That's is why we've never done this.

DarkOne's reasoning would be specifically due to the revenue raised by visits to the actual mod pages and regardless of the method now used to host and distribute those mods, there still needs to be people visiting to generate revenue for the Nexus site.
