The one thing that bother's me about the beta version is the clipping with the roof. You wouldn't have the chimney going through like that.

Looks like the beta is losing out here. I'm really okay with either, as long as it's not what we have now, so #2 or #3.

For what it's worth, I like #3 but it seems to be missing the cap at the top.

Unexpected, but I like the ones I fixed up like most here. Guess I will give it a miss on fixing Scarla's 3.0 up. I did offer her my meshes, but she seemed hell bent on adding new meshes.

 

Would these meshes be better in RF as a STEP option being it needs to be updated for Decrease Those Plants anyway? The clay stacks were really a test, so I'm not fussed about them.

Just a random user reporting in. I like #2 the best, for sure. #3 looks a really weird to me, sticking through the thatch like that. Also, I like the cap on #2. :)

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting that we can just stick stuff in TRF installer for STEP. You have to many mods SP!

Oh yeah, I guess I should mention that I prefer #2 just because it doesn't stick through the thatch roof.

So number two it is! SP, I can simply stick this in RF if you're okay with that. That keeps your mods together and simple.

Still say beta is the right shape but I agree the thatching is wrong, there a a small minority of thatched cottages that do thatch around the chimney but the thatching is done quite differently than the mod, which as I look at it becomes more jarring.

Lets use the SP meshes that are now in TRF and keep an eye on the new meshes. If they do something with that weird roof clipping then we'll reconsider which ones to keep.

So do I. Beta shape is nice (though a little too thin once it tapers imo) but that thatching is O.o
