New Version (2.0) is now compatible with WM Flora Fixes and the esp now merges into the Bashed Patch.

 

(Edit: Current version (2.0b) adds a "Non-Merge" bash tag to prevent deactivation of the plugin.)

Should this be merged in the bashed patch? Should the trap fixes esp be active at the end?

It should not be merged in the bashed patch. With the "no merge" bash tag it should automatically not merge.

 

It will also be inactive after the bashed patch, but you should re-activate it.

 

The ESPs which the bashed patch merges should not be re-activated.

I think this should be stated either on the Wiseman detailed installation instructions or the bashed patch detailed installation instructions.

Basically, from what I understand, what is happening right now is that the {NoMerge} bash tag also infers the {Deactivate} tag. Hence why it is showing up in the deactivate prompt. See this for more info: https://github.com/wrye-bash/wrye-bash/issues/51

 

If you un-tick Wiseman's Trap Fixes at the prompt, it doesn't deactivate it, but it doesn't merge it either. If you leave it ticked with the others, again it doesn't merge it, but it does leave it deactivated.

 

As far as I can tell, it is six of one and half a dozen of the other...so long as if you leave it ticked you re-activate it afterward, or just un-tick it at the prompt.

Jarl, might I recommend adding this point to the installation instructions just to keep it clear (primarily for techno muttonheads like me)? Oh, and thanks for hitting the proverbial nail on its head: this is precisely the answer to my question for Bash-patching.
