DDSOpt guide needs to be updated when using new MO (1.2.6+)

Question

The folders being created when optimizing the vanilla+dlc textures conflicts with the original mods that are non-mo mods (the new dlc mods). Posted this in the MO section.https://forum.step-project.com/topic/5376-mods-gets-moved-around-when-restarting-mo/

Question

I'm having an issue with MO 1.29, but I had this issue in previous version(s) too.Whenever I start MO, Dragonborn (the new non-MO mod) gets moved to priority 0 and Dawnguard (non MO) and Dawnguard (which is my optimized Dawnguard textures) gets moved to the bottom of the priority list. All this happens in the left, mod window. I reorder the to how they are supposed to be and check that the new order is saved in modlist.txt but whenever I restart MO (or hit refresh) the mods are moved around again both in MO and modlist.txt.Any ideas?

Answer that fixed it

You probably shouldn't have any explicitly mods with the same name as the auto-generated ones. Just call yours "Cleaned Dawnguard", "Cleaned Heartfire", and so on... (or "Optimized Dawnguard" or whatever you want.. mine contain cleaned ESMs and [no longer needed with the changes in MO] copies of the original BSAs)

Don't use a folder name for the optimized textures that has the exact same name as that of the BSA from which they were extracted. Instead use a name that is at least a little different. If the batch files are used this is already true except for the 3 addon DLCs, and if the textures are archived using the associated batch file the new version will also add "_opt" to all the archive file names.
