Can't continue quest when killing 1st Dragon

Question

Hey guys,Got Skyrim L.E. on steam after waiting a long time for a nice price cut (i'm from Buenos Aires, yeah, like that Rico character from Starship Troopers)I've recently installed S.T.E.P. 2.2.9 Extended, im glad 'cause it was really simple since the steps are well explained in this last release.

I'm having this problem, i've never played skyrim before but it seems to be a bugged quest.

This happens very early in the game: After killing the first dragon in the game, i search the body but there's nothing unusual (just bones, some armor/clothes/weapons and jewels/coins)

When i close the "loot" interface, the quest marker keeps pointing the dead dragon and i can't interact pressing "E" with anyone from my party (they don't do anything)

I've read on a quick search in the net, that it's probably because of the "Unofficial...." patches,  So i've unticked them thru the plugins panel in Mod Organizer, run the game, loaded a savegame (both before taking the quest and in mid-quest) but no luck.

Theres no warnings in LOOT output, i've no idea what else i can try. Played the game for 2 days absolutly fine except for a little z-fighting in the far mountains.i would appreciatte if someone can shed some light in this issue.Sorry for my rusty english. Regards.

Nicolás.

Well I can't speak for the actual bug, but there are not supposed to be anything on the first Dragon kill(or any Dragon kill for that matter). Dragon Bones is a unique drop to Dragons though, so I suppose they do drop something unusual. I don't know if you have tried playing past the game ever before, but after you kill the dragon, what should happen, is that you automatically drain it's soul and learn the first part of Fuz Ro Do'h. You then try it and you can move on. It seems unlikely that this should be caused by the Unofficial Patches though, unless you have a conflict or wrong installation/load order. Also, you could clean them with TES5Edit, should you not already have done so.

Oh boy, there's goes my hope that my post were well redacted :(Jus't saw in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gxx1MVVNJC0, i was wrong there's nothing to grab on that quest. When the dragon is killed it starts an animation and the dragon skin "peels off" or is removed somehow exposing the bone structure.Nothing like that happens when i kill the dragon, it's corpse just hit the ground and stays there...dead.

Yes, i have it like that

Btw, i always launch skyrim from MO, selecting SKSE from the top-down menu, then "run" button. Don't know know if this is correct procedure

Edit: you meant the left panel, sorry. It worked! thank you so much.

Not in the plugin load order.

In the left list. The installation order. The installation order and plugin order is independant of one another. So the list on the left should look as DoubleYou described. If you use the newest Mod Organizer, the official DLC's should not be tickable, and is listed as "Non-MO mods" Or something like that.
