A spoiler tag has been added as bbcode, but not officially been advertised. If you have large amounts of text from a config file, or similar, please make use of the spoiler tag so that the main discussion of a post is easier to follow.

The spoiler tag works like in many other forum software, just add the following:

[spoiler]My Super Long Text[/spoiler]

Example:

If you want to further keep the thread tighter, you can also include config files in a code BBCode so that it gets a scroll bar. (A space has been added to the end code bbcode for display purposes).

[spoiler][code]My Super Long Text[ /code][/spoiler][/code]

Example:
[spoiler][code]
;# ____ _ _ _ ___ ___ _____ ____
;# | _ \ | | (_) (_) |__ \ / _ \ | ____| |___ \
;# | |_) | __ _ ___| |__ _ _ __ _ ) | ( (_) | | |__ __) |
;# | _ < / _` / __| '_ \ | | '_ \| | / / \__, | |___ \ |__ <
;# | |_) | (_| \__ \ | | |_| | | | | | / /_ / / ___) |_ ___) |
;# |____/ \__,_|___/_| |_(_)_|_| |_|_| |____| /_/ |____/(_)|____/

[General]
;--sOblivionMods is the Alternate root directory for installers, etc.

; It is strongly recommended that you do NOT put it anywhere under the
; game install directory itself, because Oblivion.exe will search through
; every directory under the install directory.
; This "directory thrashing" can then cause performance problems during gameplay.
; sOblivionMods is defined specifically to circumvent this bug by storing files elsewhere.
sOblivionMods=..\Oblivion Mods

;--sInstallersData is the directory containing data about which installers
; are installed by Wrye Bash. This is where 'Installers.dat' and 'Converters.dat'
; are stored. Only change this for advanced configuration, such as when using
; mTES4 Manager or MOM to manage multiple Oblivion installs. In those cases,
; it is recommended to set this to a subdirectory of either "My Games/Oblivion"
; or "Oblivion/Mopy", so mTES4 Manager/MOM will move these files when changing
; clones/images.
sInstallersData=..\Oblivion Mods\Bash Installers\Bash

;--sBashModData is the directory containing data about your mods, ini edits, etc.
; Only change this for advanced configuration, such as when using mTES4 Manager
; or MOM to manage multiple Oblivion installs. In those cases, it is recommended
; to set this to a subdirectory of either "My Games/Oblivion" or "Oblivion/Mopy",
; so mTES4 Manager/MOM will move these files when changing clones/images.
sBashModData=..\Oblivion Mods\Bash Mod Data

;--OblivionPath is the game directory (containing Oblivion.exe, TESV.exe, etc).
; Use this argument only if Bash is located outside of the game directory, and
; automatic detection fails, and the -g command line parameter fails.
; If using a relative path, will be relative to the Mopy directory.
; Example=C:\Games\Oblivion
sOblivionPath=.

;--User directory arguments.
; These arguments allow you to specify your user directories in several ways.
; These are only useful if the regular procedure for getting the user directory fails.
; And even in that case, the user is probably better off installing win32com.

;--UserPath is the user profile path.
; May help if HOMEDRIVE and/or HOMEPATH are missing from the user's environment.
; Example=C:\Documents and Settings\Wrye
sUserPath=.

;--PersonalPath is the user's personal directory ("My Documents").
; Should be used in conjunction with either the -l argument or
; setting sLocalAppDataPath.
; Example=C:\Documents and Settings\Wrye\My Documents
sPersonalPath=.

;--LocalAppDataPath is the user's local application data directory.
; Should be used in conjunction with either the -p argument or
; setting sPersonalPath.
; Example=C:\Documents and Settings\Wrye\Local Settings\Application Data
sLocalAppDataPath=.

;--SteamInstall Bash will try to detect if you have a Steam install but
; if it fails to properly detect it (or incorrectly detects that you do)
; you can set this to the desired setting.
; (1 or 0 or True or False, or . for autodetect)
bSteamInstall=.

Nice, thanks for adding this. I have seen you use it, and will do the same if there is ever occasion.

I find clicking on the spoiler 'button' to open it causes the button to shrink and it remains small after re-closing the text. Afaik it seems to reset back to full size if the page is reentered or refreshed. Is this an intentional behaviour?

It's not intentional. I'm guessing you are using IE, as I just tried it in IE and got the same result. It was working before I broke out CSS styles for it, and I apparently forgot something and broke it for IE.. Grr. :)

Lol, yes IE9 unfortunately. Was using Chrome and likely to go back - the speed boost for IE x64 is minimal at best :P

My bad. Should be fixed now. Ironically, IE and Chrome were doing what they were supposed to, but Firefox wasn't. It should've been doing the same thing in Firefox. Spoiler should be working in IE and Chrome now, and also fixed the hover display for IE where it was turning into a black to very dark blue gradient making it impossible to see the text.

From a noobs perspective I don't think its very obvious that I need to click the spoiler to make it do something, maybe a good spot for that arrow, or change the text to show spoiler and then hide spoiler when open.

I agree with you. I want to change it so that there is something like the following:

Spoiler: [Show]

Where [Show] is a button, and the text changes to Hide, etc. Trying to finish up the last minute gotchas on the blue theme and I'll work on changing that.
