Strange Template behavior

EssArrBee

Question

I was trying to add instructions for an argument on the LOOT page withing the MO Note template and it would bug out if I added the line and just show {{{1}}} where the text should be.

The line I was adding was:

#For the "Argument" field, type "--game=Skyrim", without quotations.

Is the --game=Skyrim not allowed or something?

That sucks. I really wanted to add that in. If you use MO and LOOT for multiple games, the argument forces LOOT to start for that game. Without it LOOT just opens up to the last game that it was run for, which is time consuming and annoying.

I guess I'll just have to figure something else out.

I would need to change the 'anonymous' template calls to 'named' template calls. See this post for details on how to fix. I will look at implementing a fix when I have time if DY or one of you guys does not beat me to it. The easy part is fixing the template, but the hard part is updating all of the template calls.

Alternatively, you might be able to figure out a way to get a short URL that is permanent.
