New pack that used to be a part of a bigger pack. I have broken up my pack Modular Morrowloot Overhaul into smaller part to make it more accessible and user friendly. The old pack page serves as a patching guide if you want to use several packs at once.

Thanks. It was more of a suggestion to dreadflopp to include links in the forum topics of his packs.

I also have no idea how I managed to double post. Normally the forum doesn't allow that. I even got the standard error message about posting too fast.
Sorry.

I needed to create the forum posts before adding the packs, hence no links. I'll update the op's.

So with some of the trimming being done to mods and talk of making some things more compatibile, I'm thinking of also dropping Rebirth Monster - Enemy AI for this mod, Stronger.

Has anyone messed around with it?

Correcting some misinformation on my part. Apologies! I had previously stated that I was wary of using Deadly Combat in conjunction with TTRSO because I was concerned that the changes to armor would conflict thematically with TTRSO. This change was apparently only one conflicted record, easily remedied in TES5Edit or just by loading TTRSO after Deadly Combat.

I still have no idea whether I prefer Deadly Combat to Ultimate Combat, but I'm currently testing out a combination of Deadly Combat and Action Combat. With a controller I don't have any extra buttons, so I don't use Dual Wield Parrying. Action Combat has a parrying feature that I like instead.

fArmorScalingFactor is simply a ratio for damage reduction. For example, in TTRSO the ratio is 0.10 DR for each 1 Armor Rating. That means that if you have an Armor Rating of 700, you get 70% damage reduction. By default, vanilla Skyrim is at 0.12.

TTRSO has been balanced around 0.10, the perks are made so clothes (skin spells) gives 50% DR (60-65% with wards), light armor gives 60% DR (70% with shield) and heavy armor gives 70% (80% with shield - which is the max for the game).

I would recommend loading TTRSO after Deadly Combat for the sake of keeping my "balance", but ultimately the difference between Deadly Combat's 0.1034 and TTRSO's 0.10 is simply too low to matter much. Do as you please, nothing's gonna burst in flame.

Sorry that I missed this post when you made it a while ago. This mods sounds quite interesting and would be more compatible that revenge of the enemies, judging from the description. I am to interested if anyone has tried and evaluated this mod.

That's correct and I believe you are quoting the answer to a question I asked on the TTRSO nexus page. I use ultimate combat ATM after your suggestion and I really enjoy. It is my clear favorite between ultimate combat, deadly combat and duel. Haven't tried action combat though.

Hello everyone, hello dreadflopp,

I understand this guide doesn't fully support SRLE the way REGS attempts to, but does anyone use Revenge of the ennemies along with OBIS (included by the former) ? I'd like to go with both of them, unfortunately they do conflict and it seems that problem can't be adressed by just fixing load order. See for reference the conversation between Asyrin and Jebbalon on the first page of OBIS' comments (as we speak):

http://www.nexusmods...id=909993&pUp=1

Which road should I take here, considering my TES5Edit "skills" are quite limited ?

On a side note, is it too soon to include Ultimate Combat in my playthrough since you're still tweaking it ?

Thanks a lot for your guide anyway, I think I'll use most of it for my last (?) playthrough.

I know this isn't quite the answer you were hoping to hear, but I recommend against Revenge of the Enemies. It's not a bad mod, but it's quite "messy". It heavily conflicts with High Level Enemies and conflicts thematically with OBIS (I use both of those), and most of what's not conflicting is comparatively unimportant. As the OBIS mod author points out, even when it's deconflicted it will simply make generic bandits more powerful and interesting than OBIS's custom bandits. Honestly, with High Level Enemies, OBIS, and a good combat mod installed, the enemies will be quite challenging already. I suspect you won't notice the absence of Revenge of the Enemies. If you still want more challenge, then Combat Evolved is a good, lightweight pick. (It really does make combat much harder.)

I'm not dreadflopp, but I do recommend Ultimate Combat. This largely comes down to Deadly Combat or Ultimate Combat as nothing comparable has been released lately and most of the alternatives are either not quite as polished or are not particularly lightweight, and thus not a great choice for a mod pack or load order with many mods in it. (Duke Patricks is an example of the latter.) For these reasons, I suspect that if dreadflopp changes things it will be a switch to Deadly Combat. The comparison is complex enough that I suggest that you read their respective mod pages and look up Youtube reviews.

If you want to use Action Combat, you'll find that it works better alongside Ultimate Combat than Deadly Combat.

I just checked, and the two don't have a single conflict of any kind.
