Is deactivating esp enough?

Hey, I have a quick question. I want to deactivate the Duke Patrick - Heavy weapons combat esp for a new playthrough. Is this enough for the added scripts to not effect anything in the game? I guess so, but I just want to make sure. I just found out, that I don't really want to re- and deinstall it every time i change playthroughs...
