I tried this mod and really like it. It significantly improved several objects, especially rocks. No conflict with your guide.

I tried Super Turbo Lighting mod 2.0. DOF is too much for my liking. Shadow areas and sun are too bright. I am testing this on hardware calibrated monitor with forced WC 3 to use calibrated color profile. Vanilla lighting/DOF is very good for WC3. I am using lighting mod from https://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/61517-MODS-A-small-collection-of-personal-mods

I have another mod to recommend. I found night in witcher 3 is really bright. You can play and explore at night without any light source, probably because of Witcher Sense :)

I am sad that WC3 has very few mods coming out now a day.

I'll check it out once the new update is out. To be honest for the most part I like the design/look of the game (from a lore standpoint, Witchers could see fairly well in the dark even without cat) , though some extra use for torches would be nice.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I'm currently play testing a few mods to add as well, considering I still haven't finished my first play through completely I don't want to overdo the game play changes at least but I do have a bunch of graphics related stuff installed and testing.

Potential Redkit leak on the Nexus today, it's down for moderation but people have been tinkering with it and it seems like we may be getting better mod tools after all in the future.

Hi Neovalen... So I've been following this guide without any problems but when I've come to load the game I'm getting a script error. The same one mentioned here - https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3539255-script-compilation-errors/

I followed the advice in that thread and the game seems to be working now. Have you had this problem? I installed the Custom Localization mod and replaced my script folder as mentioned. I ran the scriptmerger and there was just 1 conflict between the Custom Localization and Friendly HUD mod that seemed easily dealt with.
