STEP 2.2.9.2 Complete Installation Benchmark

I've benchmarked Skyrim from before the first STEP related changes (1B) to the completion of the STEP installation including DynDOLOD.

I've only made minor changes compared to STEP that shouldn't impact performance by any means, yet I've listed them below.

As your setup runs at exactly 60fps in average on my GTX680 4GB the system requirements could be refined using the results as the

GTX 680 aswell as the performance wise almost identical GTX 770 are still very popular video cars. Using benchmarks of popular hardware

sites the results could then be roughly downscaled to weaker cards with 2 GB and above, excluding the cheap nonsense ones combining a

budget chip with tons of memory bottlenecked by low bandwidth.

As for the CPU, I've already measured CPU load (never over 25%, most of the time below 20%), RAM usage (never over 300 MB, more like 280 MB),

Pagefile size (never over 40 MB, usually between 30 and 35 MB) and SSD transfer rates (never over 17 MB/S, usually between 6 and 13 MB/s) so

I thought it wouldn't be of use if I was measuring them again.

also this might be a big ask but could make your Spreadhseet available to download if not i understand.

ok must be doing something wrtong with NVivida Inspector cos when i log the data all i is a signle long line of data in the log.

 

EDIT: decided to use GPU Tweak loging instead in Nvivdia inspector as it is easier to bulk copy and paste data.

 

next mission work out why the benchmark log is showing the wrong data compared to what is in game

i personally think it could be my version oc Excel i am still using like 2007 (cos i refuse to upgrade it) use asus logging seems to work alright, i already done 3 runs of the benchmark

 

but i new issue has arised with teh clean version you uploaded under the

 

FPS St. Dev. i get #NAME? the formula is =IF((MAX('1'!$A$2:$A$236))>0,100*_xlfn.STDEV.P('1'!$A$2:$A$236)/$H5,"N/A")

Load St. Dev. i get #NAME? the formula is =IF((MAX('1'!$B$2:$B$236))>0,100*_xlfn.STDEV.P('1'!$B$2:$B$236)/$J5,"N/A")

Clock St. Dev. i get #NAME? the formula is =IF((MAX('1'!$C$2:$C$236))>0,100*_xlfn.STDEV.P('1'!$C$2:$C$236)/$L5,"N/A")

Temp. St. Dev. i get #NAME? the formula is =IF((MAX('1'!$D$2:$D$236))>0,100*_xlfn.STDEV.P('1'!$D$2:$D$236)/$N5,"N/A")

ok thanks i will have a go and see if this will help fix it maybe it got confused cos your using and German Version of Excel and I am using a English version.

 

just for you information I have checked your version with all the raw data in and the equiation is:

 

=IF((MAX('1B'!$A$2:$A$236))>0,100*_xlfn.STDEV.P('1B'!$A$2:$A$236)/$H5,"N/A")

 

so i think it is my copy of xcel screwing something up which i will have in investigate a bit more.
