Finding and Installing Billboards

amborgeson

Question

Somewhere in the STEP guide is a mod that *also* has billboards, not just the ones directed by the guide, and I no longer have any idea which it is.

Unaware of DDSopt DynDOLOD, I was working my way through the STEP guide in linear fashion to keep it in bite sized chunks in my head. On one of the mods (and I have no idea which one any more, which is why I'm posting) had an optional file talking about installing billboards. I had no idea what it was and the STEP instructions for that mod said nothing about installing billboards, so I moved on.

I reached the end of the guide, and now it talks about DDSopt DynDOLOD and billboards. I know it was partly timing, but learning the new information while it was a little late at night and trying to recall where else I saw billboards fried my brain a little. I'm going to try to calmly search through the earlier mods now to find it, but I am sometimes prone to easy frustration, so I can't push myself to much on this. I am hoping that some one here will know what I am talking about and be able to guide me.

Oh, and a piece of information that might be useful: I *think* the mod was one with a newer revamp than the STEP guide covered (if I am remembering correctly), and as I installed that newer version it was a deviation from the STEP guide. I didn't want to deviate further and install this other thing I had no idea about.

I'll edit or reply to this post if I find it on my own.

Edit:

FOUND IT!

Skyrim Flora Overhaul.

I used the detailed instructions, excepting only the version I installed. I wanted to make sure i had the billboards for this if I was going to be running DDSopt DynDOLOD :)

I think just talking about it in my post helped clear and prepare my mind, *but* I do hope this topic makes it to some one's attention, maybe make a note in detailed instructions along the lines of "we don't recommend the new version yet, but if you install it, make sure to get the billboards files too, as they will be used later". I'm assuming you will want to review in depth before possibly recommending the new version :)
