This is an updated and renamed version of my older mod "Shadowmarks for Player Homes."  The plugin features of this mod are now included in Thieves Guild Requirements, but the new shadowmark textures aren't included in the Thieves Guild Requirements download.
 
As far as I know, there aren't any other mods that address these textures.  Better Shadowmarks and the Unofficial Patch both fix the normal maps but don't touch the textures.
 
I recommend using these textures alongside Thieves Guild Requirements (or the Shadowmarks Improved file) since both of these plugins include a few changes that also help to improve the appearance of the shadowmarks.

It's that good it scares the bricks into gaining more angularity and definition:

Thank you.   I'm still a texture noob, but I thought these turned out okay.

 

The difference in the wall is because the plugin adjusts the position of the mark slightly; the wall texture is exactly the same in both pictures.  I know I should have found a different example where the position of the mark didn't change, but I was I running short on time and felt it was good enough to demonstrate the texture differences on the mod page.  I knew someone here would probably jump on me for it, but I haven't had a chance to redo them.  Too busy working on updates for CACO and CCOR.  :P

Ah c'mon now, you didn't have to explain that! Who cares? Just leave it be and focus on your other stuff. By the way, speaking of CACO, did you ever use those SUPER quick peas I made and had laying around? Obviously no worries if you didn't, but I justI thought about you (and remembered about the peas) when reading this:

Simply because I thought Krypto would be straight there with a mod to make them look realistic if she could! That's pretty much it. The title of that article is amusing to say the least.

What!?  Not provide a detailed and far-too-lengthy explanation for some incredibly minor detail?  Just who do you think you're talking to???

 

I'm still planning to add the peas to CACO, along with those other food meshes you helped me with.  Hopefully I can get that done for the next update.  I felt that all my time and priorities for this last update were focused mainly on bug fixes.  I want the next update to be very feature-rich.

Haha.  Cool, I was waiting to hear something about some more crops. I like farming. 

 

By the way, I'll add the textures really look in situ with the objects they are placed on. The only exception is the one I posted, but I like it like that. I like it because it looks like it has been added to the bricks, which may be harder to carve into. It's a bit easier to spot in the darkness too as it is a bit lighter. 

 

Oh, and I'm reading stupid articles because clouds just ruined my sun and it forced me inside. Boooo!

Not a whole heck of a lot to test really. I was able to briefly look at these on my desktop but had to do things quickly, like blitzaround looking at the different ones and then reload before my cpu got too hot to do anything, as such no screenshots of vanilla, core, extended, this. I do like the look though.

These are bundled into your Thieves Guild Requirements mod with the latest update, along with selling Barenziah's gems?

This one is just a no-brainer. Since we already use TGR, we would just need the textures from this mod. I recommend we add it to Core (256 version).

Seeing these are just textures, they should be tested with the Better Shadowmarks meshes we use.
