MO Not Finding Game

Howdy. This is my first attempt at modding anything so I am 100% a novice. I have read various guides and introductory videos for modding but haven't been able to figure out this issue. After downloading MO to the same file that Skyrim SE is, after launching MO it will not automatically recognize the game. On top of that when I choose to browse for the file and select Skyrim there is not a file to select even in the skyrim folder. Skyrim works and I have launched it as instructed so all the initial pathways are established but I don't know what to do. MO wont find or select Skyrim.

 

Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

MO doesn't work with SSE. MO2 might, but I've read it has issues. Right now Wrye Bash SE is the best choice for modding SSE.
