It's nozzer's guide and I am quite happy to support whatever direction he takes it. The guide as is as well as Neos old conflict resolution sub page, teach us enough about advanced modding that we can pretty much add anything we want into the build ourselves. For our own use. If some of us want to use a couple steam exclusive mods like the quest series that can't be found elsewhere, then gopher has an excellent video on making a steam mod installable via mod organizer. No need to pressure nozzer or be rude as a certain post was above. Darth mathias trusted nozzer to take the project over. That's all the confirmation I need to support whatever direction nozzer wants to take the guide in.

I'm just trying to understand what objective reason exists? If there's a real concern with Steam mods that I'm unaware of then I'd like to be educated...

Well aside from my personal dislike of Steam, but realising it's pretty much a necessary thing... The main reason is that the guide is pretty verbose as is and adding another explanation on how to add Steam Network stuff would make it even more reading.

oh and Lexy wants the Northgirl armor set back again who I am to argue with her.

Sobek looking rather menacing shame the hood doesn't work on beast races:

Edit: just had a look at the Sithis Armour and Blade and same problem hood not compatible with beast races. Shame

That patch removes only few armors that he thinks are skimpy. Trust me there are plenty more remaining. Don't get me wrong i was using and liking this mod a long time when i had the game installed and i plan on using it for SE if skse appears there ...so i can install the game again.

Skimpy stuff will be a no go. I petsonally don't see the point of it. If you feel you want to use it then fine, it's your game. The guide wont suggest it, though.

Oh, my point was not the skypyness but the fact that almost makes every npc wear a different looking armor set. That feature is brilliant! I thought the NSF patch would solve the issue with the skimpyness

Pretty sure you could get that effect without the skimpyness by replacing the skimpy meshes with alternative unp meshes.. as long as the mesh matches the body (unp) and it has the same name and texture paths...  Best of both worlds per se.  That'd actually require someone to spend their time doing it though ^.^

I already tested helmet closed and my game crashed in the title screen just after the bashed patch installation.
