i know this doesn't count much as I don't STEP but for our SRLE Extended LOTD build we switched to Painterly as our replacement for Xenius Warpaints.

All input is good and welcomed. The SR based guides are popular so that helps us know what users like.

It's hard to tell from the screens on the nexus page because the face textures the author uses look like plastic or rubber. Not sure if it makes the warpaints look all that great. Gonna need to see what they are like with a better face texture.

The screenshots look good, but I haven't looked at this in game yet.

Played with this for a short while now... I too was skeptical based on screenshots, but find that I really like the look in-game. At work right now, I'll put up some screens tonight.

This mod is lovely, any idea if the author plans to do argonian/khajiit/forsworn paints too?

Would love to get some texture replacers for those, current setup up to step 2.J has blocky lips and non-man/mer face paints (with forsworn excluded from those, as well).
