Movement of trees and grass

Hey guys,

 

I don't know if anyone noticed that one already but...

It came to my attention that the trees and grass sometimes move way too fast this and that way. It looks pretty unrealistic, even if you imagine there is a storm in Skyrim. The change from left direction back to right (wind coming from the right side) is too fast.

Its fine for me, but maybe disabling v-sync can cause fast swaying trees; I have v-sync enabled.

I have V-sync enabled too, and I tried different settings for AA, AO, Shadows... Also showed up in the vanilla game.

Had the same problem. the SLI-Fix did it for me.

I had the same problem at one point during testing, but it was when I had all AA/AF turned off and vsync disabled. If you are hitting the cap of your monitors refresh rate, you might try using the FPS limiter via nVidia Inspector to limit it to 60 FPS and see if that helps.

Just got back to the issue, well sadly enabling framerate limiter via inspector didn't solve the problem, also I don't have SLI.

try enabling stereoscopic anyways. if this solves it for you, good! :)

if not, try different Skyrim configs(low, medium, high, ultra). If even on low this problem occurs, it's maybe some sort of driver/hardware problem. If one of those solves it, compare your old ini files with the new ones and try out by using the trial-and-error-method which setting is causing you troubles!
