Lexy's: Legacy of The Dragonborn Special Edition

Recommended Posts

hey, guys, I am back after the oh so joyous trip to see my mum and dad and catching up on a few things:

for starters, thanks for letting me know that Simple Face to Face Conversation was pulled bugger but I do have a replacement in mind

A Closer Look - Simple Smooth Hotkey Zoom - Special Edition - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14963

I also noticed that user luxor8071 has released few new texture mods that caught my eye and his stuff is always top quality:

Fort Dawnguard HD - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16061

luxor's Weathered HD Road Signs - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16151

Whiterun HD - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16176

I noticed the Eyes of Beauty has been ported to SSE but I think I'll stick in Improved eyes now.

I will be considering Morrowloot.

+1 for morrowloot

Welcome back, DarkladyLexy (and Darth_mathias)!  I'm happy to hear you're trip was so enjoyable.

I just finished a complete reinstall of Steam, Skyrim SE and your Build.  I'm currently working on the first Merge: Animals Merged.  After I created the merge and placed it "Directly after SkyTEST Less Fear SSE Patch", it started complaining that that "SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esp" is missing.  I checked and it wasn't in it's folder.  I checked [skyTEST - Realistic Animals and Predators] instructions and they say

Do not install the following file(s) and/or folder(s):

    SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esp
    SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.txt

@Uncleseano that is much appreciated!!

I’m suspecting it’s also what is causing my tree drama...

Once I nut out these I’ll be a happy girl.

I dont use the nude bodies, enhanced blood textures or Improved Closedfaced Helmets. Other than that I'm using the full guide. I started removing sections of mods starting from the bottom to see if Riverwood loads for me. So far I have no go.

For some reason I also had an issue with the Closedfaced Helmets mod. My game would not load with that mod active. I'm very familiar with load orders and missing masters so that wasnt the issue. Not really sure why that mod was messed up for me.

Oh yes it was really enjoyable should hear the sarcasm in my voice. That because you forgot about SkyTEST Integration Project SE - No Extra Spawns the SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esp actually comes form that mod and not the original thus the instructions.

This merge kind of confused me also initially. The esp is found in the No Extra Spawns download if I remember correctly, so that needs to be active.

I think that merge plus one or two more might benefit from having the extra instructions of moving the ESPs to a new patch folder since you cant deactivate SkyTEST Integration as a whole after the merge without deactivating the main SkyTEST esp thats there also.

DarkladyLexy, OK, so that means we're not supposed to deactivate "SkyTEST Integration Project SE - No Extra Spawns" after adding it to Animals Merged?

NVM, I can't read.  It doesn't go into the merge, but the way the directions read, it does.

If you install each file as a separate mod you can deactivate the 2 esp merged while leaving No Extra Spawns active or just move them to the optional esps in MO2.

Yes, thats why it didnt give me too much trouble because I initially installed it as a seperate mod. I'm just saying sometimes the guide reads like we should be installing all the downloads from a particular page as a single mod. In this case, SkyTEST Integration mod. Just saying why it could cause some folks confusion. I like to install patches seperately for this reason but its not always necessary like you said, just move the ones you dont need to optionals.

DarkladyLexy, have you seen Insignificant Object Remover?  It "... removes insignificant objects to improve performance without visual degradation... SSE style."

I like those three textures.  Using Luxor's Weathered HD Road Signs also saves a plugin.

no not seen it but will add to my test setup for evaluation along with everything else I am trying to test and getting nowhere with.

I don't look like that the name is spelt wrong and she, not a redhead. I have actually requests for a character Racemenu preset but I am not ready to dish that out.

Actually no we won't save a plugin.
