Lexy's: Legacy of The Dragonborn Special Edition

Recommended Posts

I remember from earlier versions (maybe I'm confusing it with Oldrim) that "Mature Skin" used to be included in the build?

Is it no9t compatible with Bijin? (Why was it dropped?) Could I include it for more realism in the female body, especially if playing a female character?

it was dropped cos Bijin Skins better fits the Bijin mods we use

I'm getting an error once LOOT loads on a merged profile: Cannot read property 'getElementsByClassName' of null

It doesn't happen every time and has never happened on my Legacy of the Dragonborn profile.  Is this something I should be concerned about as I'm creating my merges?

Convenient Horses Sse has not an MCM Menu, or at least i'm unaware of it.

PPL on nexus say you can skip the quest on a mcm and that's the SSE forums that's what made me think there is one. I just do the quest then. The mod description doesn't say anything about a mcm either and reads like it won't get any. sorry for asking stupid questions again. :(

It would be handy to have a link to the Prerequisites page at the top of the main guide. If you are worried about new users going straight to the Prerequisites page and missing the information given at the top of the main guide, perhaps that information could be at the top of the Prerequisites page instead (or as well). Just a thought, as you do have to scroll down quite a way to find the Prerequisites link.

You aren't the first, nor are you likely to be the last, to make that mistake - you are correct, and ModWatch is constantly in a state of flux as Lexy moves things around and looks at new things for the Guide - it should not be used as any kind of reference. Honestly, I'm surprised it's even shown at the top of the guide... there's nothing really to be gained from looking at it.

As for your Cyclic Interaction, that's not new either - those pop up all the time. All you really need to do to fix it is set up a LOOT Rule that prioritizes one mod over the other, and the cycle gets broken and all is well. In the Grand Old Days of the Empire... LOOT breaks YOU. You didn't break it, and it's not screwed up - it needs some guidance to get the LO the rest of the way there.

Thanks Shadriss! LOOT is such a great tool. Back in the days when I knew next to nothing about modding, it just made it so much easier to get things right with the load order and allowed me to focus on avoiding conflicts and the need for patching.

If Skyrim were a province here in the U.S., I think Ulfric would be making daily claims that the Dark Elves are committing mass voter fraud in an attempt to steal the election, the media would run direct-quote headlines with no fact check in order to "remain neutral", and Galmar would show up on Camilla Valerius's Sunday show as a "race expert" and talk about the "persecution/replacement of the Nords" without getting any pushback...  :cursing:

yeah really please ignore my modwat.ch it will not help and it will only confuse you.

as for the Great City of Dragon Bridge, I add both it and it's Arthmoor village patch to the Artmoor village group and to seem to works fine for me.

Thanks Lexy! I'll try that.

So i played for a while now and wanted to leave some feedback.

I really like the list, i recruited ( more like he recruited me) Lucien and did some quests for the museum. so far no real issues here and having a good time learned about some SSE mods the hard way. :)

The only personal problem i have is Intresting NPC and that it is required for some merges. I respect the work of INPC but for me it is way too much, it has indeed very amazing and intresting NPC but if i could i would skip the mod. it is in 2 merges (NPC retextures and Followers).

Since it is so popular i can understand that it is on the list also.

Since you seem to like Rogueshots meshes i wanted to say that he released Savage Wolves some days ago.

Oppulent Thiefs Guild - I checked this in SSEEdit and it really only had problems with ELFX and there is a patch. I also load it befor NPC Retexture Merge SSE.esp but would put it even befor the Lexy's LoTD SE OMEGA - Conflict Resolution.esp since it has some minor NPC Edits. But that's where my xEdit knowledge ends.

I put it under Locations on MO left pane and hid the files it overwrites. (some .dds from LOTDB HD and 1 .nif of Skyrim Reborn - Whiterun Hold.

Enhanced Lights and FX Patches - Oppulent Thiefs Guild - i put it after the required file on the MO left pane.

All Thieves Guild Jobs Concurrently - i guess this would just get merged into somewhere by the patchers - makes playing the thieves guild more interesting. - i put this in Modified and Expanded Quests on the MO left pane.
