iNeed, Frostfall, and Campfire are all part of the Consistancy Patch you noted, and  file that gets merged into Lexy's LOTD Consistency Patch. By not installing iNeed, the Survival File has a missing master, which then transfers into the LOTD Consistency Patches merged. So, in effect, you have two options:

 

1) Install iNeed, and turn it off... this is by far the easiest route.

2) Using the procedure in the Troubleshooting part of the guide, remove iNeed as a Master.

 

You won't be able to proceed without doing one of the above - with a Missing Master error, your game will CTD on load.

I just want to let you know, that "HD LODs Textures SE" has been recently updated to V8.0. The guide needs to be updated, because the requested UPDATE FILE - HD-LODs-Textures-SE V7.2 update SSELODGen - DynDOLODis no longer available. The author did not move the file to the old files section.

How is the leveling/perk gain rate with Uncapper + Experience mod?

 

I like to become a master of all and be able to max out multiple perk lines, reach level 100+ eventually, etc but I don't want to become overpowered after doing only 30% of the content. Is this possible with this guide or do I need to adjust some values?

I haven't been keeping up with the updates to your guide now for a while due to various reasons.

While it was fairly easy to do them step by step, it seems more prudent now to do a full reinstall.

Since I'm in no rush, do you think it might make more sense to wait til the release of V5 of Legacy before I jump back into the modding madness? ;)

The creator of LOTD said "wait" and that was 30 days ago. So... definitely wait.

 

I personally set up the vanilla game, and MO2, and all the tools. That's a lengthy process that shouldn't really change with the release of V5.

No, there is no issue continuing to use the Luxor files - rumor has it that he is going to be re-releasing all of his stuff as a series of all-in-one packages, but for the moment, you're good continuing in that fashion.

Skills are capped by Player Level. Most content in the game, as we have it set up, isn't safe to do without followers until at least level 20, including Bleak Falls Barrow. I haven't seen anyone making any complaints about being overpowered... quite the opposite, in general.

Despite the other answer you received, we don't really know when LOTD5 is coming. I've heard that it's in final testing, but that could still be another month or so. Then again, it could be tomorrow, for all I know. Either way, I'd update the guide to the most recent version anyways, as that will still be a lot less work to do when it releases... whenever that happens to be.

Thanks. So to clarify, this guide just uses the default uncapper preset then? The OMEGA preset used is all vanilla values it seems. Curious why it's included if nothing is adjusted.

 

 

For the fossil mining script fix... there's 3 pex files in there. Are we suppose to just use the mineorescript.pex or put all 3 of them in the Faster Mining Plus mod folder?

 

Would still like a confirmation on this please. I went ahead and just put the 1 script and overwrote for now. :)

Some minor things I also noticed going though the guide.

 

For consistency sake, the guide should probably use 2k textures for Toccata since it uses 2k for all other npc textures/armors. It also seems weird to install the high res skin textures for seranholic/valerica but then not for Bijin Wives/NPCs/Warmidens. The same with Ancient Dwemer Metal/Ancient Automations mods, 4K textures seem unnecessary on VRAM and all other similar mods in the guide use 2K.

Thanks Shadriss for the news!  Yes they are very great textures so that's why I want to keep them for now... (hopefully if he release new version I hope it will tell which corresponding packages match the old ones :-) That will make things easier.

Hello I am Dee, I am a modaholic,  * welcome dee* lol  Well I finally have the most stable build I have ever had, and what did I do, I wanted to look under the hood , add more.. mod more.  Now I understand what my daddy meant by "you know just enough to jack crap up real good now fix it" lol  So that is what I am doing now. But I was a good girl and backed up my original list like Lexy said whew glad I did that.

 

I do have a question tho.. Suppose I do not care for Ordinator, would it be a real pain for me to remove it? ( and stay close to the LOTD build)?

Tried with Meh321's loader as well. Says "loaded OK" but the log still says that.
