Lexy's: Legacy of The Dragonborn Special Edition

OK guys need a bit of testing here and wiser heads if you look at Obsidian Mountain Fogs you will notice under formid xx0012E5 it says in DATA/position z - is 0. This is likely to be the wild edit DynDOLOD is complaining about. Now if you look at the next id x0012E6 you will notice the "Editor ID" is the same so I was thinking could we not just delete to wild edit and everything be alright or should the z number be edited?

@DarkladyLexy Thank you for the reply  ::): . If you say its beta I will wait a couple of weeks and then slowly start installing. Its a huge mod list, it has all my favorite mods and some I haven't even heard of, and all around my number one favorite Skyrim mod, Legacy. Thank you for making the guide  ^_^ .

hey guys spend a belated Valentines day with my man he took me out for the day.

 

I didn't spot the error in DynDOLOD pos by Tzefira  that it not an ITM but i do know what mod is causing it, Obsidian Mountain Fogs has References with z height = 0.0 in that formid.

 

@ dreamer1986 I would consider the guide to ow be in a Beta state it is stable but there mare bugs I haven't squashed. I will be swapping CACO/WARF/Clothjng clutter fixes when kryptopyr releases them.

 

@ BuddyKidd My esp didn't move into the overwrite probably cos i actually have the latest MO2 build from the Discord channel installed. Darth updated to that when he was trying to sort out the Wrye Bash issues.

 

I will take a look at all the update i need to do later today for now breakfast with my man.

I was the one who pointed out to him where the Discord channel is and I also have the lates MO2 build from there.

I must have had something wrong in my MO2 install.  I just now tried it on my new build and it did not put them in the overflow.  Thanks for the answer and all your hard work.  I hope you had a wonderful time with your hubby.

Interesting. Mine put them in overwrite and I just moved them back to their folders. How did you fix it?

ok so been take a look at the The Great Equalizer and there is a record I have trying to get the bloody script to ignore but it wont I have added:

 

exclusions.Add('') (this is from Burma as script is not liking it). I have read the readme and can't see why the scrip wont ignore this record so for those that have successfully run The Great Equalizer what am i doing wrong.

Can anyone tell me is this is a smart (or wrong) way of managing my merges:

Copy my modded MO2 profile and name it something like "Merges Profile"

In the Merges Profile do not touch the left side of MO2 (keep everything checked) and sort with LOOT. Next move all the .esp files to be merged to the bottom of the Plugin list (in the order they need to be).

Essentially you will have a MO2 profile with the left side that is identical to the main Modded Profile and a plugin list that has 300 .esp files total with the last 113 .esp files being the following list:

What am I not seeing here guys?

 

NOTE: LOOT auto disables any plugins past 255. After using LOOT I simply Enable All of them. After merges and hiding all merged .esp this will not be necessary.

Your post makes it sound like you didn't follow Lexy's directions for setting up MO2 and creating the Merges.  Your attempt to simplify  the process is (I think) doomed to fail.

 

LOOT auto disables amd ignores any plugins past 255.  Your re-enabling them after using LOOT (as you describe) will only result in an unstable game (if it runs at all).

I completely agree, I am in the weeds and would love to follow the guide.

 

I went astray when I "copied" the "Legacy Of The Dragonborn - Special Edition" profile.

I disabled everything on the left and only checked the folders with the .esps to be merged (and moved them to the top). This resulted in only:

 

SkyTEST Integration Project SE - Main 1

SkyTEST Integration Project SE - Main 3

Critters Ain't Snitches - Main

Critters Ain't Snitches - Optional

 

being checked. The issue I then ran into was that none of the .esp files could be selected in "Merge Plugins" because "Skyrim Immersive Creatures Special Edition.esp" and "SkyTEST-RealisticAnimals&Predators.esp" were not active.

I fixed this by activating the mod folders "Skyrim Immersive Creatures Special Edition" and " SkyTEST Integration Project SE - Main 2"

after doing this my head was spinning because this was not spelled out in the guide and I was wondering "what other folders should be checked?" "she never told us to uncheck anything... but if I left them all checked my .esp count exceeds 255..."

 

Please advise.

 

Edit:

if activating the mod folders "Skyrim Immersive Creatures Special Edition" and " SkyTEST Integration Project SE - Main 2" in order to proceed with the merge was the correct thing to do does it matter the location of those folders or plugins with respect to the plugins to be merged or is it only important to keep them outside (bottom) of the .esps to be merged?

Follow Lexy's Build Guide and the instructions/Guide for creating a separate MO2 profile for each merge.  Your attempt to simplify the process (though laudable) will (I think) greatly increases the probability that any mistakes made will be more difficult to find and correct because you didn't following an established process.
