I am working on my own personal compatibility patch for my load order (and possibly making a Magic PACK for STEP, but I digress...), but I noticed almost all of Kryptopyr's mods do not incorporate and then overwrite a significant portion of USLEEP edits.  After comparing the STEP Extended Patch to her mods like WAFR, CCF, and CCOR, it is obvious that armor and weapons should use only the keywords from last Kryptopyr mod in your load order and that a couple reversions to vanilla damage was intentional for CCOR true weapons and armor.  But for certain armors like Penitus Gloves (see USLEEP addons for Khajits and Argonians) and the dozens of Armor Addons where USLEEP adds Amulet slot to various Robe Biped Data (and Kryptopyr's CCF does not), it is not clear what the best practice should be. So I am curious, what is your guys' stance on USLEEP and the various Kryptopyr mods?  If any of you have a link to forum post or something where this has already been discussed, I would appreciate it the same.

Thanks in advance for your time.  I have tried posting on her mods nexus pages and PMing her to no avail.  I have a suspicion that she doesn't even use USLEEP/USSEEP, favoring her mods instead.

Actually, Krypt has a lot going on right now - among other things, family has been in town and the slow work of converting some of those mods you mentioned over to SSE. Not sure where the best place to get hold of Krypt anymore is, but can't say I'm surprised.

https://www.patreon....ptopyr/overview?

Why I'm on Patreon:

I really enjoy connecting with fellow gamers who follow my work and who share my passion for fantasy and role-playing games.  Rather than have separate sites for personal modding-related blog posts and my other creative projects, Patreon gives me a single location to keep you informed and up-to-date on what I'm currently doing, and provides an easy access point for you to reach me with requests and new ideas you'd love to see me develop.

Personally, I always allow Kryptopyr's mods to win the conflicts with the Unofficial Patches. I'm fairly sure she checks her mods against the UPs so I assume any changes she makes or anything not forwarded is done intentionally for various reasons.

*points at name* And that's why I didn't know how best to get at you - you don't even use your own name anymore! :) Glad to see you're still around though... Your work is some of the best out there.

While I usually think of Patreon as a place to pay cash for something that should be free, I'd have to say your mods are worth it, Kryptopyr!  While STEP showcases your bug fixing mods, your non-STEP mods are some of best I have ever seen.  Disparity, for example, after playing with it you can't imagine playing without it!  You will probably see me as a contributor soon...

Personally, I always allow Kryptopyr's mods to win the conflicts with the Unofficial Patches. I'm fairly sure she checks her mods against the UPs so I assume any changes she makes or anything not forwarded is done intentionally for various reasons.

I am generally doing the same.  Most of the time, if a record from her mod is also modified by USLEEP, she incorporates the fix or makes a different fix; albeit one that is superior to game balance or lore.  So please Kryptopyr (Lauren) don't think I am being critical ::): !  However, using ArmorPenitusGauntlets "Penitus Oculatus Bracers" [ARMO:000D3EAB] as an example, USLEEP adds two armor addons, USKPPenitusGloves_ArgAA [ARMA:06009D62] and USKPPenitusGloves_KhaAA [ARMA:06009D63] I believe to show Khajiits and Argonians skin when using the gloves (although I cannot find the entry in the USLEEP changelog).  WAFR does not incorporate this fix.  As I have seen her have a superior fix elsewhere before, I have looked in WAFR to see if she edited elsewhere in a referring record ( in the .esp) or if WAFR contains a mesh or texture making this USLEEP fix unnecessary...

I have also found several armor addons where USLEEP marks the Amulet slot but CCF doesn't mark the Amulet slot nor contains new/fixed meshes or textures, such as FineClothesTorso01AA [ARMA:00086994], WeddingDressTorso01AA [ARMA:00088955], FineClothesVariant01AA [ARMA:000F8712], and DawnguardBody4AA [ARMA:0200F401].  There also a few other addons that have the same change in USLEEP but CCF may have made that edit unnecessary because the mod provides one or meshes or textures in Model section, such as MageApprenticeAA [ARMA:0006B468], MageCommonRobesAA [ARMA:0007E012], MonkRobesAA [ARMA:000BAD04], WenchOutfitAA [ARMA:000D191E], and MageJourneymanRobesVariant1AA [ARMA:0010D69B].  But the only changelog in USLEEP I could find says "Numerous armor add-ons that were hiding amulets and shouldn't, along with numerous add-ons that display them and shouldn't, have been corrected..." and I can't find a feature or changelog in CCF that says anything about these records (I found the one regarding NecromancerRobesAA, WarlockRobesAA, and MageRobesAA, but can't cannot deduce the meaning of NOT mentioning these, as it could go either way).

Sorry if I appear anal... I am trying to improve my modding game.  I have really learned a lot here...
