Profiles and Load Order

I apologize if this is somewhere buried in posts, but I did search and wasn't able to find my question.

 

Most of us that mod our games have a large amount of them.  The thing that has brought me here is that when you have finally gotten all your mods installed, everything's in order and working, if you then create a new profile based on that one, when you open the new one, all the mods are unchecked and in alphabetical order, causing you to have to spend quite some time reordering them again, and if you didn't write them all down in the proper order it's a lot of back and forth.

 

Is there something I'm missing here?  I can't for the life of me figure out how to make a new profile with the same mods (which I could then tweak) and have it be in the order it was from the original I'm copying.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you create a new profile or copy the previous profile? Sounds like you created a new one as that will be the default result.

 

You can forgo the hours of redoing it all by copying loadorder.txt and modlist.txt from the old profile to the new profile.

Wow, I knew it was going to be something obvious!  Thanks GSDFan!  I know where that file is, it never occurred to me.  Sheesh, again, thank you so much.
