DynDoLog gets "stuck" on Skuldafn

Question

Hey guys,

I'm having this odd problem that I can't seem to find a solution for. Essentially, when running DynDoLod, it seems to generate LODs but not recognize that its child windows are done. It'll just sit there, with the title saying "Building Trees LOD blocks: Skuldafn [WRLD:000278DD]" and a timer.

At this point, there are no command line "text" child processes open.

I'm on SSE, running DynDoLod 2.54 with the -sse parameter. I use MO2.

I use the wizard window, just do "Select All" and then use the "High" preset to start generation.

The last log is:

It did not write a Skuldafn log to disk it seems; the last one it wrote is Apocrypha.

If I run DynDoLod on Skuldafn alone, it finishes just fine - and within a short time - which would seem to preclude any problem with the data itself.

If I run just Apocrypha and Skuldafn, it also seems to work.

So, what's the deal here - does anybody know?

Typically these types of problems happen because read/write access to files/folder might be blocked by UAC. antivirus, MO etc.

Just do not select the world, but generate all others. Install output as usual. Then start DynDOLOD again with the DynDOLOD plugin(s) loaded and just select the worldspace skipped before. The LOD and updated DynDOLOD plugins will be generated to the output folder. Merge with output from first run, overwrite any existing files, also the old plugins.

Thanks, that sounds like an easy workaround. My money would be on MO2 - vfs can be flunky at times. It shouldn't be UAC and I kinda doubt it's my virus scanner. Suggestion: if the software notices it can't access something, maybe the software could output this as an error message?
