DynDOLOD Beta for Skyrim Special Edition, Skyrim VR and Enderal SE 2.98

Well, updating the existing dyndolod esp/esm had a different crash. (https://pastebin.com/UDVH4UH9, https://pastebin.com/E0bvZLzp)

With older esp/esms deleted and the bashed patch totally rebuilt with no error messages using the latest build (from the wrye bash discord), I got the exact same error as posted before (https://pastebin.com/RgWGnueD, https://pastebin.com/cLaL3HfM).

Here's my broken bashed patch: https://mega.nz/#!UhMTTKpb!ofAvRsrguzfRMWDA8BytZsgtokzglGkI5Pvvxte5NWg

Windows 10 Only: 307.202001101724

Windows 7 and 8.1 Only: 307.202001101603

See if either of those work. If not post here please.

Tried 307.202001101724 with a totally new bashed patch (deleted the old one and generated from scratch).

Same error as before.

EDIT: I just had an idea, hold on.

EDIT2: never mind, still happening.

This will be tedious but, I need to request it and since this is a fairly big issue I would appreciate it if you could try this. The other day someone had a cell issue. I had him go through something similar and he found a mod, that was not listed as a master of the Bash Patch importing improper data.

Please build a bash patch with the DLC only and see if it still happens. If so let me know. If not then after building one with only the DLC, build a bash patch with a few mods at a time until you find the mod causing the issue. I just double checked and this fix has made it into the official wrye bash so my versions, or the official version should not be doing that.

Found it.

It seems to be caused by having Open Cities checked in "Import cells".

Shouldn't be a conflict with LotD though because I have LotD and all the patches unchecked...

Based on current discord discussions, the plugin triggering this will be more or less random.

Until there is an update to Wrye Bash that addresses this issue, I suggest to not check the "Import Cells" option.

Hello,

I'm trying to use DynDOLOD as per GamerPoet's newest YouTube video (posted Jan 4th) and I keep getting this error when running TexGen via Vortex:

https://pastebin.com/TvnG9EH5

Forgive me if the solution is obvious, I'm a newbie when it comes to this stuff. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Well I'm not exactly sure how, but I got it to work. (I did a lot of uninstalling and reinstalling things.)

Hello,

Thanks!

The very first error the log shows is:

Executing TexConv returned error C0000135: "C:\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\Texconvx64.exe" -nologo -y -sepalpha  -f BC7_UNORM -bcquick -o "C:\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\DynDOLOD-temp\textures\dungeons\ships" "C:\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\DynDOLOD-temp\textures\dungeons\ships\shipwoodside01green.dds"

Which has been discussed here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/14518-executing-texconv-returned-error-c0000135-vruntime140dll-or-vcruntime140-1dll-was-not-found/

Well I'm not exactly sure how, but I got it to work. (I did a lot of uninstalling and reinstalling things.)

Looks like reinstalling the required Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 did it.

You should read all log messages and follow their suggestions.

Yes. I remove Tamriel (Skyrim) - Skyrim.esm and it works. But what is happening to that esm? I mean what might I do wrong on that part?

Why not follow the suggestion of the log message that I highlighted?

If problem persists, post error report with entire contents (not just the last couple lines) of ..\DynDOLOD\bugreport.txt and ..\DynDOLOD\logs\DynDOLOD_SSE_log.txt to official forum
