SKSE64 insta-crashs when launched via MO2

sjack32891

Question

Hello everyone, I recently got back into Skyrim after a long break, and after reading about MO2 and how it was way better than NMM I decided to use it with my clean install of Skyrim SE.
I have all my mods installed, SKSE and the like, however, when I launch SKSE64 via MO2 it seems to crash instantly afterwards. MO will lock and the CMD window will pop up for a second, then MO unlocks and nothing. I can launch and run SKSE64 through its one exe file, but for some reason MO2 seems to make it crash right away.
According to LOOT my load order is good, so I'm not sure what's causing the instant crash. Any ideas?
Here is my mod list:

Thanks for any help!

When you installed SKSE, you should first right click the skse64_2_00_12.7z file you downloaded, click Properties, click Unblock, and click OK. Windows 10 adds an extra security layer around executables and DLLs that are blocked that may cause issues.

Open skse64_2_00_12.7z and extract the files skse64_1_5_62.dll, skse64_loader.exe, and skse64_steam_loader.dll into the Skyrim folder (e.g. C:\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim Special Edition).

Run Mod Organizer 2, click Install Mod, select skse64_2_00_12.7z, and click OK.

Right click on the SKSE mod in Mod Organizer 2, Open in Explorer.

Rght click a blank space, click New > Folder. Name the folder SKSE.

Double click on the SKSE folder.

Right click, click New > Text Document. When prompted for the name, delete all text (including the .txt extension) and name the file skse.ini. Double check to ensure this file is not named skse.ini.txt.

Edit skse.ini and paste this into it:

[General]
ClearInvalidRegistrations=1

[Display]
iTintTextureResolution=2048

Are you running Steam version of the game or a pirated one?

yes.....it was selected for the right path. i followed directions, everything was where it needed to be but i still got the error message. but i deleted everything and reinstalled it all from scratch. now im back on on track, the main game menu is displaying the active skse64 in the bottom left corner as usual and i think the enb series is working too because of the info on the top left when i boot the game. that and the clouds look way better. i really hope i dont run into this problem again. i was also having issues with skui5 se and racemenu, and alternate start. every time i downloaded and activated these mods, my mod manager refused to launch the game through the skse64 launcher. im using MO2. just finished with the enb install, now im going to watch some tutorials for skui5.  sorry i am writing so much
