Patch fails to build - "out of memory cannot continue operation"

zydramir

Question

Running into an issue with wrye bash taking roughly an hour or so to try to "build" bashed patch, then ultimately failing due to "not having enough memory to continue the operation" to save the patch. Through the patch process it throws two stdout/stderr errors, but disabling either or both of these mods does nothing to solve the problem. Skipping or cancelling the out of memory errors makes the bash patch not rebuild and just revert to what it was before trying to build.

Any ideas?

Cleaning mods that STEP (or LOOT) indicates should be cleaned should not cause any issues. Using mods for Skyrim LE in Skyrim SE or vice versa may cause an issue due incompatibilities in the mod formats. Merging mods can sometimes cause issues if the mods aren't merged correctly. I just have no idea what might cause the issue you are having, unless perhaps it's trying to merge more mods into the bashed patch than it can handle.
