Question

Yes a newbie, of sorts.

Trying my first modding with DynDOLOD.

I have run texgen64 and zipped / installed as "DynDOLOD textures"

I am actively trying to read and fix this but it maybe something real simple you peeps can see!

Bit confused by:

[00:06:35.420]    C:\Users\ME\AppData\Local\Skyrim VR\DynDOLOD_SSE_next-object-esm.fid not found.
[00:06:35.462]    C:\Users\ME\AppData\Local\Skyrim VR\DynDOLOD_SSE_next-object.fid not found.

All I have in there is DynDOLOD_settings.ini ?

*.fid files are saved/updated after successful runs to be found on successive runs.

There seems to be an issue with tree references in the Markarth Worldspace worldspace. Check all non vanilla plugins for errors with xEdit.

Use xEdit to list all plugins that overwrite MarkarthWorld. Open entire load order in xEdit. Enter 00016D71 into the FormID top left and hit enter.

The right window will list all plugins. Post that list.

Hi,

I think I fixed my issues accidently.

Trying to get xEdit, in my case TES5VREdit, to run i found -tes4VR switch, I was using -tes5 on DynDOLOD and TexGen.

Re-ran them with the -tes4VR switch and they went through fine with no errors on both.

Not sure if that is a legitimate fix or I have changed something while trying to troubleshoot.

Just for completion of my noobie knowledge. you asked for a list.

The right window will list all plugins. Post that list.

I could not see an obvious list to provide. Is this in the View or Refernced By tab? How do I get this?

Maybe useful knowledge if I get more issues on my adventure into LOD and modding.

Thanks for you help.

I assume the 4 is just a typo, as for Skyrim VR the switch for xEdit/xLODGen/DynDOLOD is -TES5VR

I suggest to read DynDOLOD_QuickStart.html and Docs\DynDOLOD_Manual_TES5VR.html

In xEdit, the right pane shows a column for each plugin when showing the View tab for a record. The title row shows the plugin names.

However, since the problem went away don't worry about it anymore.
