TechAngel85
I would love to include this mod, however, it has issue in SE with the decals not being transparent and leaving squares on the ground where the footprints are. I've experienced this myself. The author seems to be MIA or has retired from the mod.
DoubleYou
Since we are considering adding an ENB, we should be using the ENB optional file. I think it may work without ENB too, as it talks about fixing the squares mentioned by Tech above.
Mercury71
Mod that uses SPID and not cloak to distribute the footprints. Is it worth looking into ffor STEP? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/54924?tab=description

D1Z4STR
If you don't want the ugly bright snow poofs after each step just hide the meshes in the meshes/footprints folder. You get a cleaner footstep and you also do not even need the ENB patch.

We are testing a ton of mesh mods this round, so we should be sure it applies.
D1Z4STR
I did not test this. This was reported across various discord channels from a well known mod author.
Mercury71
Current STEP 2.0 with ENB turned ON. (outsdie Dawnstar in the middle of the day)
DoubleYou
Primary place to test for issues is Windhelm at night.

Went just inside the gate in Windhelm (STEP 2.0 with ENB on, meshes not hidden). Bright snow tracks even though there is no ground snow (se pick, very dark with ENB, my char is in the pic actually). z929669
I haven't looked yet, but we have a crap-ton of meshes in testing right now, so we need to nail those down before we assume anything specific.
D1Z4STR
The 5 major mesh players are Dlizzio's Mesh Fixes, Assorted Mesh Fixes, Fixed Mesh Lighting, Flickering Mesh Fixes and Unofficial Material Fix. We already use 2 of them. I am guessing the other 3 are in for testing/talks?
