Question on regenerating lods

First - a sincere thank you to whomever built dyndolod. I've been modding Skyrim for years and I'm 3rd or fourth serious build since VR came out and though I've gotten my mod list into the 200s with merging I never approached generating my own lods.

 

I just did for the first time and I'm simply stunned at home much better the game looks.

 

My question is I successfully generated lods for all of my mods including simply bigger trees. After generating the lods I installed HQ Tree Bark.

 

The question is do I need to regenerate my lods and are there any risks involved? As I understand it I have to remove the old generated mod files and replace with the new ones created by dyndolod. Obviously, any time you remove mods there are risks.

 

Will I even notice a difference with new lods since I installed HQ Tree Bark?
