CTD, maybe Ill try a merged patch?

Hey guys.  It's been a long road but I Have skyrim revisited with some additions installed.  All day yesterday I was suffering memory related CTDS, until two members helped me with DDSOPT.  I suffered one CTD last night in a cave.  I ran around white run and horsed it from there to a cave so I am positive my mem related issues are over (mem peaks at 1800 now...incredible), the CTD was very disheartening though...seemed to be completely random as well.  I have a few outstanding issues that I figured I would try to get some feedback on.

 

1. CTD - maybe I will try a merged patch; I realized when I hit generate FNIS for users there was 1 warning which said I had an outdated Skyrim...I ignored it...could this be a big problem?  I also realized when doing all that weird TES5EDIT stuff for one entry in what I believe was "live an alternate life" the node turned red from green after following instructions...I sincerely hope if something went wrong there it wouldn't ruin my entire game...could it?  Could my random CTD issue (I experienced 1 in about an hour of running around testing DRAM usage) just be a by product of trying to continue an old save (I did do the SKSE clear invalidation entry as instructed)?

2. Extremely long skse launch from mod organizer - When you look at my load order you will realize I have Skyrim linked to the skyrim folder rather than the Mod organizer/mods folder...could this be the reason?

3. Invisible giant with purple axe - I'm fairly certain I know the cause for this.  I optimized the entire Mod organizer/mods folder at 1 time then transferred it over...I have a back up of all the original files though.  I am thinking of copying over the original automatic variant packs over again should fix this?

4. Really wanting to add ASIS back to my load order, if anyone has any experience with ASIS for Skyrim revisited and used in conjuction with enhanced enemy ai I would love to hear it

Out of curiousity how many items (records) does your bashed patch say it changes (select it in WB and it will say something like Description: DATE Records Changed: NUMBER)

It sais it changes 108.  All I can think of is something is terribly wrong with SKY UI.  Ive decided I took this week off to make this game work, I have Monday off aswell.  Ill keep trouble shooting until then and if it stays broken Ill say goodbye to Skyrim.  Possible suspects on my list

-steal block

-trade and barter

-sky ui

-skse version (yes I know I'm reaching)

 

To reiterate

Game is totally stable in cell transitions, combat, travelling open world

 

Ctds while 

randomly in menus, when i try to loot certain corpses, when i try to trade with certain merchants, belethor being the main (im sure there are others)

 

I've scoured google and these issues seem to be unheard of.  Same with Asis causing ctds for no reason at start up (which is still deavtivated).

Unheard of likely due to the combination of mods as likely people would post here if they're using Skyrim Revisited. Um... only thing I can think of is the number of items in your merchant screens and how fast you scroll through them. I've been having problems with merhcants as well but it also depends on which one and how much they have as well as how fast I look through their list

Just started a new game, tried to talk to belethor before enabling trade and barter. Still ctds as soon as i ask what do you have for sale.  The blacksmith chick and everyone else inwhite run seem to be fine. Maybe what I'll try after a short breather is saving in front of belethor, then ill disable every custom patch one at a time and try to sell to him.

Do you have any mods which are adding lots of things to Belethor's inventory?

I really don't, the only merchant mod I have is trade and barter and maybe ars.  Im starting to think this is not repairable, maybe doing all that leveled list editing when i was installing skyrim revisted affected my game in a deviant way.

In your start menu type in BOSS and go to the BOSS GUI when that's open you'll see some options. One will be a drop down menu "BOSS Log Format:" select plain text from the drop down run BOSS then go to your BOSS folder and inside there will be a folder called skyrim open that up add the file BOSSlog to an archive and attach to your post.

Ok will do.  Yes I have Immersive weapons and armors, ill test without them when I have a chance.  Ok sorry about that, Ill re post.

One thing that is probably a dumb idea but Im thinking of trying when I am able to.  I have SKSE installed in my skyrim directory, not through mod organizer.  Because of this when i tried to install SKY UI through Mod organizer it sais there was an error: no skse.  I ignored it.  Is it possible this could be the root of my inventory/loot/trade display ctds?  Probably not but Im going to give it a go.

You might consider checking whether the Belethor crash is due to your save game or the mods you are running. Get a fresh character, choose Breezehome start and try to go to barter with Belethor. If that doesn't crash it's probably a corrupted save game issue. You might try another start and go to a general merchant like the Riverwood trader or the one in Winterhold and see if that crashes. If all general merchants are crashing it might be that their inventory is too large - but that usually doesn't happen as soon as you open the menu.

 

Also:

 

I don't think this is required with the new USKP patch - StaticMeshImprovementMod.esp Active

This might affect items in inventories, not sure at all - marriagedynamicoutfits.esp Active

 

Are the tribunal robes/masks adding things to your sales inventory?
