This may be a possible alternate mod to Skyrim Weapon De-LARPification Project. Basically, it reshapes the vanilla weapons to be more sensible, flattening when necessary. Not as comprehensive as De-LARPification, but worth a look.

Weapon DeLarpification Project had a problem with some of the meshes being too thin, IIRC. If this mod doesn't have this problem, and it looks sensible, then maybe we can install DeLarp first then overwrite with this mod.

yeah that sounds good. and i also use Greatswords SSwTB on top of DeLarp, so i'll need to see how many conflicts there are between all 3, then decide on best order of overwrite. Maybe DeLarp then GS-SSwTB then this mod

I've this DeLarp, SSwTB then this mod installed and like what I see. mesh changes aren't too thin, the stubby shortswords still are stubby but just less so, they don't look like rapiers. Keeper.

version 1.7.3 Tested today with some options and I must confess this is a real addition/fix to skyrim. Waiting for the daggers to be completed.

Thought I would post some screens =D I will do more if you all like them. In my opinion it improves the swords a lot. Not so bulky and wide.

Using the same order as Garfink. However, if you want the Scabbards from SSwTB I am unsure how to go keeping them atm.

There is something to be said for Bethesda seemingly deliberate choice to make weapons thicker and broader. I think the idea was to make combat look visually dense and impactful. The paddles swords do look like the hit harder. My biggest concern with this mod is whether or not it can be used with Cabal's weapon textures. I would be rather reluctant to give them up.

I use BSW with all of Cabal's textures and it works find. The author has a patch up for Cabal's Skyforge weapons, so the author himself is likely using Cabal's textures.

I also use this with Cabal's textures, with pretty much no issues. Very impressed by this one, to be honest, I hated those swords. The Silver and Elven ones look like they could have spread butter, let alone sliced it.

Erm, why haven't we tested and included this yet? BTW, I invited LeanWolf to our forums, so hopefully he'll visit us soon :)

Put it in the queue if you want. If it conflicts with DeLARP, then we should use the most comprehensive.

I believe that Neo has a working solution for this in SR:LE but we could test other variations as well.
