Realistic Colors and Real Nights - RCRN

Pavesino

Question

Ehy guys! I wanted to thanks the developers of the STEP project, thanks to I find very great mods that made my Skyrim more realistic and immersive. But also more funny to play!

Unlucky me, i fall in love with the wrong mod: RCRN.

Why wrong? Coz that dont want to work with my game!

Probably I'm doing something wrong, but I can't really figure it out.

I've just re-installed a clean copy of Skyrim updated to 1.5.26 with

only SKSE and Script Dragon inside the game folder other than the game

files/folder.

I tried to install RCRN with both the automatic installation (I just

select my game folder, the same folder as TESV.exe, and then install

with Classic and the FXAA option on) and the manual ones (copy all the

files from the RCRN 3 - Classic in the main game folder and merge the

data folder from RCRN mod with the one in the game folder) but at the

same result: When i launch the game (tried both from Skyrim Launcher and Skse Sauncher), it close right after without even showing the "New Game"

interface..

Please, someone help me :wallbash:

My Specs:

Win 7 64bit

Skyrim v. 1.5.26

Skyrim Script Extended and Script Dragon

No Mod installed (so absolutely no conflicts..)

with updated DX and Drivers

Ram Corsair 2x4GB 1666mhz

- Hmh... Have you tried checking program as adminstrator?

- Also I hope you have backed up you old .ini-s! I'm not sure if they get deleted when reinstalling game

*** BEFORE PLAYING ***

- Make sure you have bEnableFileSelection=1 in SkyrimPrefs.ini under [Launcher].

- Make sure that "rcrnShaders.esp" is checked under Data Files in the Skyrim launcher.

- PAUSE Key : Enable/Disable Effects (Affects only Post Processing, does not disable the custom .esp)

- Make sure you have the latest DirectX runtime installed. (if not download it here: https://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35)

- If you are experiencing crashes, please set the Skyrim executable (TESV.exe) to run as administrator.

(Right click TESV.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Check "Run this program as administrator.")

- Turn off any on-screen display programs and monitoring tools such as ATI Tray Tools, XFire etc.

Fraps is full compatible by default, no tweaking needed.

MSI Afterburner is full compatible (only the latest beta version), but some tweaking is needed, you need to do this: https://www.themaskedgamer.com/images/afterburnerguide.jpg

- Disable v-sync if you are experiencing sluggish FPS or mouse lag.

- Certain SkyrimPrefs.ini graphical tweaks may cause instability and crashes.

- If you are experincing image distortion please set bFloatPointRenderTarget=0 into your SkyrimPrefs.ini

A1) Fix game launch crash after installing S.T.E.P.: -Again, if you are experiencing crashes, please set the Skyrim executable (TESV.exe) to run as administrator. (Right click TESV.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Check "Run this program as administrator.") Also, if you are using RCRN or any other FXAA Injector / ENB Series mod, turn off any on-screen display programs and monitoring tools such as Fraps, ATI Tray Tools, MSI Afterburner, GPU-Z, etc. Make sure you have the latest DirectX runtime installed.
