Forum-Forum & Wiki-Forum Links Broken

z929669

Question

There are lots of broken links where any page on the site references a forum page. We'd appreciate it if the community could help out on the wiki side (all members can edit) and on forum side (members please review your own past posts and make the necessary corrections to links among your own threads).

Moderators and forum staff, please be aware of this and correct links as you stumble across them. It is painful but necessary.

Thanks!

I've checked and updated all mods from the letter T to Z, with 3 exceptions:

https://wiki.step-project.com/TES5Edit : I didn't find the discussion thread for it.

https://wiki.step-project.com/Thieves_Guild_Requirements : Found 2 threads for it ( 1 & 2)

https://wiki.step-project.com/The_Paarthurnax_Dilemma : 2 threads as well ( 1 & 2)

Flood control + constant css changes are too annoying to keep up doing this tho :p

I wish more members would take that kind of initiative ... much appreciated. My guess is that you got to about a third of the mods ... did you reference mods from forum Anthology or from wiki?

Not sure what you mean exactly by that, I just opened this list ( https://wiki.step-project.com/Category:Mods ) and started updating all the entries starting from the last page.

That makes sense and is definitely the simplest way to do it. I just meant that you could also have looked in the STEP Anthology forums as a mod reference for updating the wiki or you could do it from the wiki mod refs directly. The former would have far fewer mods than the latter, so I am pretty sure you must have tackled around 50 mods or wo (just a guess).

I've taken care of the forum and wiki links for the "active" mods currently in STEP for section D - Fixes. The dropped mods will still need to be fixed in the forum/wiki, but they are not a priority atm. So the Fixes section for the current release should be good to go. I'll work on the next section in a bit. Going to take a break and do a bit of gaming.
