Version numbers not being updated is 99% of the time just me not having had the time to check for updates yet. I'm currently collaborating with darthbdaman on an update for ADAM, so I'll probably be able to dedicate some more attention to the guide after that.

I'll take care of it. Soonish

 

Also what in store for that Adam update?

New version of ADAM is up. Got help from darthbdaman to integrate his modular patch scripts in the main plugin. Since both ADAM and the mod of his included in the Advanced Recon Merge uses scripts to add the helmets to the appropriate lists there's no conflict between them.

Can I update mid-game? Any new feature/content? Bad practice, I know.

You can update from ADAM complete no problem (I hope). The non complete versions will need a clean save.

Thanks. I am using complete version per F&L guide. Off note, I am still working on Necklace mod. I excluded bunch of outfits that cause bad clipping from HH DLC. This new version will require DLCs as masters. I plan to update to a separate file, so people can choose what best for their setup. I plan to cover all DLC eventually, but this will take sometime while I am playing through. Real life happens as well. I have been busy lately. 

 

Report for F&L

I have been getting weird stutters when turning in interior cells, such as caves in HH DLC. No problem in world space. I don't know what cause this. It is not heavy area. I am tweaking my enblocal.ini a bit trying to fix it.

Hi, I have a maybe stupid question, but the guide says that MiscItemIcons.esp and WMX-ArenovalisTextures.esp have to be enabled after the generating the BashedPatch.esp. What if I remove the NoMerge tag from both and merge them into the Bashed Patch. I would save 2 slots?! :O_o:

Ok so Robert's males is down right now apparently for an update So that could be a good thing if it actually happens and terrible if we stuck in the lurch. I just realized that the couriers stash dlc patch didn't make my mod organizer shuffling! :confused: so if anyone has that particular file, just in case the nexus link doesn't come back up it would be appreciated.

edit2: well it doesn't have couriers stash stuff though. shoot! We should probably plan a contingency.

Hey, been lurking around this guide for almost a couple years now and it's been very useful thanks.

 

Thought I'd let you know that "cellHUD and Complete Vault Girl Interface Compatibility" in the optional HUD section has either been removed from the Nexus for awhile now or is linked incorrectly and I can't find it.

 

Also I have a couple basically formatting suggestions you can just ignore if you want:

 

Regarding the whole optional hud section it's so small that it seems a bit odd to have a whole page dedicated to it. Maybe borrowing some of the flair from the fo3 guide such as "optional" tags and leaving those two on the main page might be a bit clearer, or at least more convenient to the reader?

 

The headers for some of the sections, while I enjoy the tone they add for the guide, could probably do with some more obvious and descriptive titles. "Poosh" for instance could really just be "Animations & Effects" while keeping the previous title as flavor text under it. Same thing with "If You'll Be My Bodyguard..." as "NPCs" or "Companions" or something. Maybe it's just me but there have been numerous times scrolling through the guide looking for a specific section when it took me longer than it really needed to because of the lack of title clarity. Maybe it's just me hah...

 

New Vegas Uncut 5 - A Wilder Wasteland. The Gojira encounter is a bit much and doesn't sound like was even intended content. With all the balancing we do to get the combat in the game to feel right being attacked by a super creature randomly has turned me off using that particular mod. I just wonder if including it in the 'uncut' section as-is makes the most sense when (well in my mind anyway) it conflicts with what it seems that section is trying to accomplish. Maybe adding a warning to the description of the mod in the guide to tip people off about the Gojira encounter or even making a patch for it would be helpful.

 

I think that's basically all I can remember for now. I really appreciate what you guys have done, EssArrBee for making the guide and MonoAccipiter and the rest of you for continuing to improve on it, Especially in the last couple  months as I'm holding off on a new playthrough to add a lot of the things Mono has been working, primarily the weapon/equipment and casino stuff.
