This mod is in an Alpha state and will remain so until the seams have been resolved.

 

Updates:

• December 17, 2014, Alpha v1.1
  • Reduced shine on skin for both body and face. Shine is now slightly reduced and smoother. Added versions to the file name for users.

If we could find the best non-nude female body replacer as we have with better males, then the XCE mods can be dropped (as well as the foot wraps mod).

Ask alt3rn1ty if he can throw the underwear on his body. It is UNP with custom textures and exeter already did all the meshes.

Not all of the clothes/armors are covered by exeter, are they?

Also a few UNP boots clip horribly, like the Necromancer boots (it's like they have no soles, you can see your feet though them when running)

I'm not familiar with body retextures as I've never used them. I have no idea who this author is or what he/she even authors. What does UNP stand for anyway?

It just stands for "unpretend".

No clue what it means, but it is a decent body type, highest slider setting aren't double F cups. That is what UNPB is for.

 

Alt3rn1ty is the guy that did that Kill the Orchestra mod and he did the reduced vanilla textures. He also helps with BOSS, bash, all those other projects.

I searched Nexus and that author's page but found no body replacers or a "UNP" body female body replacer. Lots of references to UNP armors and such though. If you know what we're looking for, just go ahead and contact the necessary authors, etc if you have the time.

Alt Navetsea UNP Seamless. There are like 4 size options too.

Ah! ...for some reason I wasn't logged into Nexus and could see adult material.

Soo.... we're wanting to use a female body replacer that does not work with vanilla armor and clothing? That doesn't seem to fit Core because we'll have to add in several more mods just to keep compatibility.

On the flipside, Exter has done some VERY active work making conversions of all the vanilla and DLC armor to fit the body, and it's very well supported armor-wise on the Nexus, so not much worries there. It's much better for STEP than... say, CBBE. Not the least because Immersive Armors doesn't have a proper conversion for it.

It is just replacing three mods, two XCE and female foot wraps, with five mods, two replacers and three armor meshes. The five cover a lot more than the three mods do though. 

 

EDIT: The IA UNP support is only for the Lore Friendly Armor Pack that is part of IA.

Maybe...but will this work with say...Book of Silence? Also this is a concern: 

I won't be doing any more modding for the foreseeable future, si I'm afraid there won't be any more updates or patches.

 

Also, looking at CBBE it appears to be more what we're looking for. It already has a "Nevernude Vanilla" option which is underwear wearing textures that are vanilla friendly. Sooo...why don't we want CBBE?

Book of Silence is nearly 100% textures, and it can be installed before the UNP armor meshes in case a few modified armor meshes conflict. CBBE happens to be much more unrealistic looking than UNP, and seems more overtly designed for people who like sexy body replacers rather than someone who just wants to get away from the awful vanilla bodies. Also, not much support armor-mod wise.

1/ UNP also has a nevernude version in the optional files.

2/ UNP has limited support for Immersive Armors (armors added in IA7 are not covered since Exeter retired before IA7 was even released).

3/ CBBE has no support for most vanilla clothes/armors.

 

And no matter which one you pick, a whole heap of custom armors will cause clipping or horrible neck seams.

UNP/CBBE-type mods shouldn't really be in STEP imho.

 

How about a combination of FemFeet, Better Hand Mesh, and Prometheus Better Female Natural body instead? At least you'd keep full compatibility with all vanilla-based clothing that way...
