I searched the forum, and do not turn up an answer to this question -- do I need to clean each mod with TES5Edit?  I have been, but have gotten very few clean operations on the mods.  Most turn up clean already.

Please advise.

Only clean the mods that there are instructions to clean. You shouldn't be doing it for every mod, some mods have ITMs and UDRs that need to be there and cleaning them will mess up the mod.

If LOOT says to clean it, clean it. I believe we have mentioned cleaning as necessary on all the relevant mod pages, but we might have missed some.
