Missing Whiterun Distant Textures

Hey, guys. I ran through the gamut of fixes for this. Both inside and outside Whiterun, the castle is invisible until you get close. So, LOD problems? I double-checked the installation of Quality Map, no joy. Haven't finished installing ALL of STEP yet, but have finished the visuals section and this started happening during a test benchmark. The ONLY mod I have that is not a part of STEP is Alternate Start.

 

(It should be said my game looks beautiful and runs crisp as hell.)

Intel 4770K @ 3.9, 16GB, and a Nvidia 690. Followed all the tweaks, ini, program, tools and mod installs until the end of visuals.

Actually, Tech, transparancy AA was off; I remember this specifically because that was one of my first go-to solutions. Everything is working fantastic, now.

Quick aside: the Nvidia 980 is a god-in-the-machine. I've never seen a piece of hardware like this.
