EDIT: Post moved to a more suitable thread, with less rambling (despite the fact that I've now been up for over 24 hours).

I'm a bit confused by the 2.N section. In the STEP Patch detailed instructions we have to disable all the SMIM plugins, install the STEP patch (in my case Core) and then activate all the plugins as the first step to create the Bashed patch. Did I get this right?

Also, I assume "activating all the plugins" exclude the HRTP dummy plugins?

When doing step 4. (after clicking rebuild patch), I got this popup. I assume I should click "OK" ?

I would suggest mentioning it on the wiki page.

You probably already disabled the SMIM plugins when you installed SMIM by either deleting those plugins or marking them as "optional" (which disables the plugins from being used by MO by placing them into a folder named "optional" under a mod's installation folder - in this case the SMIM installation folder).  So if you already did that you shouldn't be seeing any of the SMIM plugins showing up at all (either enabled or disabled) in the list of installed plugins in MO (in list of plugins on the right half of MO's window).  I guess it mentions them again just to make sure you the user didn't forget to previously disable them...

Just a quick note that I've cleaned up the links on the mod page. Whoever put them there, did far too much work. lol!

I did it that way on purpose, Tech, so that each link would open in a new tab automatically.

You can revert changes but keep the crafting overhaul in there.

I forget about that because I've set that up as default behavior on my browser.

I did the bashed patch corectly but when it was done I got an html (I believe?) file opened in a browser type window (built IN Wrye Bash) right before the window asking if I want to activate it.

Is this something important the Wrye Bash Team linked us to or just something like "well done, your bashed patch is ready!"?

(Page with the details showed up next time I made a bashed patch.)

Should I do it again after I add Vividian ENB since it adds plugins or is it ok if I install Vividian ENB at the end and just laucnh the game like this?

You'll be fine just installing it and playing.

Ok, thank you, I was worried even if I was thinking that the bashed patch shouldn't be necessary for an ENB to work properly.
