Cant get Archive Invalidation working FNV

knight92

Question

OK hello everyone Im new here so ill just start by saying whats up? Now that thats out the way my problem is that I can not get body replacers such as type 3 working. I am following the fear and loathing STEP guide but for TTW. I have activated it in the profiles button at the top of MO (1.3.3) but still nothing. I get the strange lines in bodies so I know its not working correctly, although NMC texture pack does work. For instance I run beware of girl type 3 fomod installer and it gives me errors it doesnt allow me to install properly. Also MO creates the Fallout-Invalidation.BSA and places it in the install directory not the data so Im pretty much completely confused and yes I have read every other post regarding this matter. I have placed it in the data folder no luck, I have tried manually changeing the SArchiveList= but nothing works any help would be appreciated thanks.

I fixed this by uninstalling FNV and MO reinstalling FNV and MO 1.3.3 and first thing I did was create new profile and make sure archive invalidation was ticked I then moved the fallout-invalidation.bsa into the data folder and everything was good to go this time around. So step one reinstall it all then make sure you fallout ini's are not set to read only then do as I have said and create new profile in MO before adding any mods and tick archive invalidation also sometimes you may need to un tick and re tick just to be safe.

I doubt it as that would be a very easy mistake to identify on top of MO 1.3.3 highlighting such issues in red. But no that is not the case as I said I cant get type 3 working so what else would I have over writing that mods textures? I am following the STEP guide for Fear and loathing and applying it to TTW. So If i try type 3 for FO3 in TTW same issue as I stated in the OP, and if I try type 3 for FNV same issue and no Im not letting those over write each other Im trying them out seperatly to at least see if I can get one of them working.

Similar issue here, I followed the Fear and Loathing guide and it seems many custom replacement textures are working incorrectly. Custom weapon textures end up all screwed up as well as male textures(so far), getting the black bar issue but the fixes offered in guide do not work. Also I do not have a Fallout - Invalidation.bsa file at all.

I have been having the same problem, with one small difference. For whatever reason, I can not uncheck Archive invalidation on any profile I have it enabled on. Any time I try to uncheck it, if I go back to the proflie to confirm it, it's still checked. The program does not seem to be creating a Fallout - Invalidation.bsa file (I don't see it in the Archives list, nor can I search for it on my pc.) I've tried creating a clean profile, loading only NMC's texture pack and while most of the textures do pop up in game, its clear that not everything is working correctly, as evidenced whenever I look at say a stop sign.

Check outside your data folder MO would create it and put it in the game install directory then you have to place it in the data directory not sure if thats how it's supposed to work but that is what it does for me. Also maybe you have your MO profile set to read only.
